The Ultimate Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

broccoli

garlic (peeled and thinly sliced)

olive oil

salt

black pepper (freshly ground)

lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

pecans (toasted and chopped)

Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Prep the oven:

Prep the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Prep the broccoli:

Prep the broccoli: Cut the broccoli florets from the thick stalks and cut the larger pieces through the base of the head with a small knife, pulling the florets apart. I cut mine in really small florets because I wanted bite size florets. Place the broccoli florets on a sheet pan large enough to hold them in a single layer. Toss the garlic on the broccoli and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.

Bake:

Bake: Transfer the sheet pan to the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned. Stir the broccoli once partway through cooking.

Finish the dish:

Finish the dish: Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately toss with lemon juice, pecans and Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.

Delicious, tender Roasted Broccoli coated in olive oil and lemon juice and drizzled in Parmesan cheese. We love this recipe!

Roasted Broccoli Recipe

tsp minced garlic

lemon juice

tsp garlic salt (with parsley flakes)

tsp pepper

Parmesan Cheese

Preheat oven to 425.

Line Baking sheet with foil or grease baking sheet.

Combine olive oil and garlic in a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Strain oil and discard garlic pieces.

Whisk in lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Toss broccoli with oil mixture and spread onto baking sheet. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake for 20 - 22 minutes tossing broccoli once during baking time. ENJOY warm!
