5 Minute Homemade Peanut Butter

Place peanuts in a food processor. Turn the food processor on and let it run for 4-5 minutes. During this time, you&#8217;ll see the peanuts go in stages from crumbs to a dry ball to a smooth and creamy &#8220;liquid&#8221; peanut butter. Stir in the sugar, honey, or salt, if you want.

Store in the fridge or at room temperature if you think you&#8217;ll go through it fast enough (I know people who store it both ways &#8211; I would just advise the fridge if it&#8217;s going to be several weeks before you get through it).

Not sure why I haven't yet. After all I already make my own veggie stock and chicken stock (welllll honestly, my boyfriend does it for me - he rocks).

I completely agree! I've been so anti-more-kitchen-appliances. I saw this and cauliflower rice within two days and broke down and bought the food processor. No regrets!! I love this recipe! (Ps. To Aldi shoppers, the mini 3-cup food processor was a weekly special for $12.99! Yay!)

So glad to see you are giving up the refined foods. I have to say it will bring me here more often. I love the PB--but I would add the honey on the sandwich or whatever. No need to sweeten it before time. 

And, to Marzia--no need to be SUGAR FREE. JUST REFINED SUGAR FREE. Honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar--all are awesome and do not make you feel sugar deprived AT ALL!

Place the peanuts in a medium food processor.* Process until very smooth, stopping every 30 seconds to 1 minute to scape down the sides of the bowl, as necessary, and to give the food processor&#x27;s motor a break. The mixture will be chunky at first. Then, it&#x27;ll thicken into a ball, and finally, it will become creamy and smooth. The whole process should take about 8 to 10 minutes.

cinnamon (extra for topping)

tbsp coconut shreds

dark chocolate chips/pieces

tbsp agave nectar ((I used Madhava Raw Blue Agave))

Cook the oatmeal according to the package directions with salt, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Top cooked oatmeal with peanut butter, coconut shreds, chocolate pieces/chips, agave, and fresh fruit. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and enjoy!

4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Marshmallow Fluff Dip

– 8 oz jar of marshmallow cream fluff

– 250 g package of spreadable plain cream cheese (at room temperature)

Whip your heavy cream until it is light and fluffy, then measure out 2 cups.

In a mixer combine all of the ingredients and beat until smooth.

Serve with fresh berries, slices of bananas, chunks of angel food or pound cake, or mini cookies.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the nuts out onto a rimmed baking sheet. Roast for 8 to 10 minutes, until fragrant and toasted. Allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes on tray.

Transfer the peanut butter to a jar. Store in a cool dark place (pantry) for 1 month or refrigerated for 2 to 3 months.

This peanut butter is excellent!  It's super creamy and with such a slight bit of salt being the only additive (or not), it is wholesome and absolutely delicious.   The idea of roasting the peanuts briefly before processing saves so much time where other recipes have you stopping every 1/2 to 1 minute to cool down the processor motor.
