If you are on a low-carb or keto diet then you will love this Pizza Bowl recipe! It is essentially a crustless pizza with all of your favorite pizza toppings baked up into a cheesy low-carb dinner! Only 10 grams net carbs per serving!

Italian turkey sausage links,

green bell pepper, diced

oregano

garlic powder and crushed red pepper

marinara sauce

turkey pepperoni pepperoni

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Coat 4 individual-sized (2 cup) oven-proof baking dishes with cooking spray. Meanwhile, coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray and set over medium-high heat. Crumble in turkey sausage. Add in onion and pepper and cook, breaking up the sausage until the sausage is cooked through and the vegetables are softened, 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in oregano, garlic powder and red pepper and remove from the heat.

Divide half of the sauce among the four baking dishes, spreading out in an even layer. Top with the sausage mixture, dividing among the four dishes evenly.

Top with the remaining sauce. Top with cheese and arrange pepperoni on top.

Bake until bubbling hot, about 12 to 18 minutes depending on how wide the bowls are. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

We do the same with cheesesteak bowls too at home or out.

Oh my goodness, those look so delicious! Pizza is one of the things I missed the most on a low-carb diet. I'd often buy a pizza and eat the topping and leave the crust. So wasteful. This is a much better idea for sure!

pizza sauce

baguette (gluten-free

mozzarella cheese

parmesan cheese (vegetarian if necessary)

herbs

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of pizza sauce into each ramekin.

Divide the chopped baguette amongst the four ramekins.

Top each ramekin with a handful of toppings of choice.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese into each ramekin.

Spoon 1/4 cup of sauce over the cheese in each ramekin.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup parmesan cheese over the sauce in each ramekin. Top with some chopped fresh herbs like basil or oregano or sprinkle each pizza bowl with a touch of Italian seasoning.

Bake for 20 minutes or bubbling and beginning to turn golden.
