This is a great change from every day pizza!  We love pizza in our house including grilled pizza, Pizza Pasta Salad or even a cheesy Pizza Pasta Bake!

PEPPERONI PIZZA PUFFS

flour

baking powder

milk

egg (lightly beaten)

shredded cheese ((mozza

pepperoni sausage

pepper

basil & garlic powder

oregano

mozzarella cheese strings

store-bought pizza sauce

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a muffin pan very well.

Combine flour, baking powder and spices in a bowl. Add in milk and egg and stir until combined.

Stir in shredded cheese, red pepper and pepperoni. Allow mixture to stand for 10 minutes.

Divide among the muffin wells. Cut each cheese string into 3 pieces and gently press 1 piece into the center of each muffin.

Bake until lightly browned and puffed, about 20 minutes.

Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Pizza Bites Appetizer with Pepperoni in 30 Minutes are just like your favorite pizza in bite-size! A Simple recipe and a scrumptious game day appetizer. Can't get much more fun than that. They freeze perfectly. Spritz them with water and either microwave them until heated or defrost and pop them in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes.

Pizza Bites Appetizer with Pepperoni + Video

all-purpose flour

Italian seasoning

red pepper flakes (crushed)

Parmesan cheese

sugar

olive oil (extra virgin, plus more to grease pans)

eggs (beaten)

shredded 4-cheese pizza blend

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Reserve a hand full of pepperoni (about 1/4 cup).

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, seasoning, red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, sugar, milk, and egg. Stir together with a fork. Mix in the pizza blend cheese and remaining pepperoni. Set aside.

Prepare (2) 24 cup mini-muffin pans by greasing with olive oil (or spray with cooking spray).

Mix batter and add 1 heaping tablespoon scoop to each muffin cup. Top each muffin with 2 or 3 of the reserved pepperoni. Bake until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes, remove from muffin tin and serve with favorite marinara sauce.

Pizza Bites Appetizer with Pepperoni

These Pizza Puffs are bite-sized snacks where buttery puff pastry rounds are topped with tomato sauce, cheese, onions, and capsicum. You&#39;ll love them as a deliciously easy appetizer, hors d&#39;oeuvre, or after-school snack.

Pizza Puffs (With Puff Pastry Sheets)

puff pastry sheets (or Rough Puff Pastry)

pizza sauce (- as required)

oregano pizza seasoning

Before you begin, making the pizza puffs, preheat your oven to 250 degrees Celsius/480 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 15 minutes. 

If you used the puff pastry recipe, which I have posted on blog, then slice the puff pastry in three equal parts. Take just one part and wrap the remaining two parts in a foil or cling film and refrigerate or freeze.

If using store brought puff pastry dough, then follow the instructions on the pack.

Sprinkle some flour on the dough and begin to roll.

Roll evenly to get a ¼ to ½ inch thick base.

Using a cookie cutter or a lid from a bottle, cut rounds in the rolled puff pasty dough.

Remove the dough from the edges. Roll them and then use it for making another batch of pizza puffs.

Gently remove and place each round in a baking tray.

Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the rounds. You can either use store brought or homemade pizza sauce.

Top the roundels with some chopped onions and chopped capsicum (green bell pepper). You can also add chopped olives, steamed corn, sautéed mushrooms.

Now sprinkle some grated processed cheese or pizza cheese. Also sprinkle some dried oregano. You can add a mix of dried herbs too.

Preparation

Keep the tray in the oven. Bake at 250 degrees Celsius/480 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes till the cheese on top is melted or light golden and the puff pastry rounds have also got golden and crisp.

Do check the base and it should be golden.

Let them cool for a few minutes. If not serving immediately, then place them on a wired rack.

Serve Pizza Puffs hot or warm or at room temperature.
