Asian pork and vermicelli noodles

There&#8217;s something so satisfyingly indulgent about soft, thick udon noodles – they&#8217;re made for slurping and carrying big textures and flavours! Black bean pork noodles with coriander and peanuts

x 275 grams packs straight-to-wokudon noodles

Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat, add the pork mince, then stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon as it fries.

Add the garlic, ginger, white parts of the spring onion, chopped coriander stalks and Asian greens, then stir-fry for a further 1-2 minutes.

Reduce the temperature slightly under the wok or pan, pour in the black bean sauce and heatto warm through.

Fill the jar with cold water to rinse, then add to the pan with the noodles, tossing to make sure everything is coated in the sauce. Divide among 4 plates, then serve scattered with the remaining green parts of the spring onion, coriander leaves, sliced red chilli and chopped peanuts.

Ready in 15 minutes, these spicy pork noodles are the perfect dish for a healthy weeknight dinner, and they make great leftovers too.

Spicy Pork Noodles

rice noodles

olive oil

sesame oil

pork chops,

green onions, thinly sliced, white and green parts separated

garlic,

snow peas, thinly sliced

carrots

soy sauce

chili paste,

honey

rice vinegar

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add rice noodles and cook as per package directions until tender.

When the noodles have 5 minutes of cooking remaining, prepare the pork. In a large pan on medium-high heat, warm the olive oil and sesame oil. Add green onion (white parts only) and garlic and cook for 1 minute until tender.

Add the sliced pork to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping it to cook on both sides, until lightly browned and mostly cooked through, then add snap peas and carrots, toss to combine with the pork, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add the soy sauce, chili paste, and honey to the pan, and toss it with the pork and vegetables until everything is well coated. (Feel free to add more chili paste if you like things spicy.) Once everything is well coated, turn down the heat to low.

When the rice noodles are cooked, strain them, and then transfer them to the pan, gently tossing them in the pork until well coated. Drizzle with rice vinegar and toss again. Then taste and adjust the seasoning with soy sauce and/or chili paste as desired.

Serve the pork noodles immediately with a garnish of sliced green onion. Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Delish! This is a keeper. Came together super fast and was really tasty. The noodles were a nice change from rice.

Made this last night for dinner and it was delicious! Just the right amount of spicy. I used bok choy instead of snow peas because I had it in the fridge and added some yellow pepper as well.

This was a yummy recipe! We used frozen stir fry veggies for it to be even easier to prepare. And instead of the Chili paste we used an an Asian crunchy pepper condiment (forget the exact name). My growing boys also enjoyed. Thank you!

Best recipe for Asian noodles. Quick and easy for weeknight dinners. I liked the crunch of the snow peas and carrots. The sauce is entry-level on the spicy scale so good for mild spices folks. I added sirracha sauce for a bit more zing. Thank you Kay for another winner!

This easy ramen noodle dish throws away the flavor packet! Slice up lean pork tenderloin and whip up a quick homemade sauce for a flavor-packed dinner!

Easy Pork Ramen

water

canola oil

hoisin sauce

peanut butter

rice wine vinegar

chili paste

pork tenderloin,

(3- ounce) packages ramen noodles (flavor packets discarded)

chopped cilantro

chopped green onion

peanuts

lime wedges

In a medium bowl whisk together the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, canola oil, honey, hoisin sauce, peanut butter, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and chili paste until smooth. Set aside.

In a large skillet heat the 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium-high heat. Place the pork in the hot skillet to brown stirring frequently. Cook until the liquids in the pan evaporate, and the pork is cooked through.

Turn the heat off and add in the prepared sauce, stirring to coat the pork. Leave the pan on the warm burner.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen for 3 minutes, or until tender. Drain and add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss the noodles with the pork and sauce to coat.

Serve immediately with any, all or none of the garnishes listed.

Good recipe. I used only half the sauce because it was only two of us. Saved the other half in the frig. Looking for an alternate recipe suggestion so I don't waste the reserved half. Thanks.

With all these ingredients I thought this was going to be a flavor bomb. But, I am sorry to say it was one note taste.

This looks absolutely amazing delicious.  My question is. You mentioned that a person can substitute the pork for either chicken or beef. Now, are you talking about chicken breast cut up or ground chicken? For the beef. What kind of beef are you talking about? Roast. Thinly sliced or ground beef? Please clarify.  TIA.
