Thai grilled BBQ pork spare ribs are delicious and flavorful for any occasion. These succulent pork ribs are marinated in an umami and sweet sauce made from Thai spices, soy sauces, sugar, and garlic. They are then grilled to perfection until tender, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone delicious.

Thai Grilled BBQ Pork Spare Ribs

Blend fish sauce, oyster sauce, sweet dark soy sauce, sugar, garlic, cilantro, white pepper, and lime juice in a spice grinder or small food processor. Use a mortar and pestle to pound the garlic, cilantro, and white pepper into a rough paste in a food processor, and spice grinders are available. Then add the remaining ingredients (the sauces) to the paste in the mortar. *If your rib racks are not separated, use a sharp knife to slice the ribs on a cutting board. Wash the ribs with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the membrane before marinating. See the FAQ section below.

Place the pork spare ribs in a large bowl. Pour the marinade over the ribs, then cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil before refrigerating the meat. A deep dish, baking sheet, or large resealable plastic bag is also great for marinating the meat. If using a Ziploc bag, seal the bag and massage the marinade into the ribs. Let the ribs marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.

Remove the marinated ribs from the refrigerator, and turn the ribs a couple of times to get the marinating sauce to cover each individual rib, especially on the meaty side.  Let sit at room temperature for 30-45 minutes before grilling. 10 minutes before grilling, preheat the grill to medium-low heat.

Place ribs on the hot grill. Do not discard the remaining marinade. We'll use the reserved marinade to brush on the meat while grilling for extra flavor and tenderness. 

Grill the ribs over medium-low for about 25-30 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. If the meat gets dry and looks darkened, move those pieces to the side from indirect heat. Use the extra sauce or the oil to baste on the meat as you go along. 

Once the meat is fully cooked, remove the spare ribs from the grill to a large serving platter. Serve the Thai grilled BBQ pork spare ribs hot with your favorite sides. Have plenty of paper towels ready to wipe your fingers! Enjoy!

This low and slow stovetop cooked pork baby back ribs is amazing! One of the most tender pork ribs you will ever have. And that is not even mentioning how flavorful they are! These will be a family favorite!

Low and Slow Stovetop Pork Baby Back Ribs

lbs pork back ribs (cut in 2 to 3 inch pieces if possible)

soy sauce

bitter orange

1-1/2 tbsp adobo

oregano

tsp minced garlic

tbsp chopped onions (or more to taste)

tomato sauce

cilantro (sprinkled to taste)

In a large bowl, start by rinsing the pork ribs and draining excess water.

Season with soy sauce, bitter orange, adobo, oregano and garlic.

Stir in well making sure the ribs are fully covered in our seasoning.

Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours. For even better flavor, refrigerate overnight.

Once ready, place a large dutch oven over medium high heat and add the seasoned ribs.

Make sure the ribs are as spread out as possible and cover.

Stir frequently, about every 3 to 4 minutes until you see the ribs are starting to no longer look rare. Add about 1/4 cup warm water and continue to stir making sure they are not drying out. Stir and add bits of warm water as needed for the next hour.

After the hour is up, add onions, tomato sauce and cilantro. Stir well and add a bit of water if needed.

Also check tenderness of the rib using a fork to poke it.

Continue to cook the same way, stirring and adding bits of water if needed. You&#039;ll know when it&#039;s in need of water because they will look like they are frying and sitting it just oil (fat).

Once ribs reach desired tenderness, cook down any liquid remaining. By this point some meat may have fallen off the bones. Yum! Clear sign that it&#039;s ready to enjoy!

My oven baked ribs are fall off the bone tender, seasoned with a flavorful dry rub and slathered with BBQ sauce. I bake them wrapped in foil to make them extra tender and juicy, then pop them under the broiler for just a few minutes to caramelize the exterior for a flavorful crust. This easy recipe will have you making the best ribs of your life!

How to make the BEST Fall Off the Bone Oven Baked Ribs

baby back pork ribs (about 4 pounds total)

paprika (I used sweet paprika)

garlic powder

onion powder

chili powder

salt

black pepper

BBQ sauce

Preheat oven to 275° F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.

If the ribs have the thin white membrane along the back, remove it. It is usually easy to pull off with your fingers, but if not you can run a butter knife under the membrane and then use a paper towel to grip it and pull it off.

Place ribs on the foil lined baking sheet, meaty side up.

Combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Rub this dry rub mixture all over the meaty side of the ribs.

Cover the ribs tightly with foil by wrapping a few sheets of foil around the baking sheet. (Alternatively, you can wrap each rack of ribs tightly with foil.)

Bake for 3-3½ hours, until ribs are very tender. (Unwrap the ribs and pull off a small piece of meat to check for doneness.)

Remove ribs from the oven. Preheat broiler to the low setting. Remove the foil covering the ribs and discard. Brush ribs with BBQ sauce. Place ribs under the broiler for 2-4 minutes, until the BBQ sauce just starts to caramelize. Watch them carefully so that they don&#39;t burn.

Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
