Potato, Tomato and Carrot Soup, or ABC soup, is one of the simplest Cantonese soups to make. It&#039;s fast, easy and also healthy, so why not try making it yourself today!

Potato Tomato Carrot Soup (ABC Soup)

300 gm Lean Pork Meat

Potato (medium)

Carrot (medium)

Yellow Onion (small)

Tomatoes

Salt (optional)

litres Water

tsp Light soy sauce

tsp Cornflour

Salt

tsp Oil

Peel the carrots and potatoes and dice the pork meat, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes and onion into 1.5 cm cubes.

Marinate the pork meat in soy sauce, cornflour, salt and oil for 15 mins.

PREPARATION METHOD

Add 2 litres of water to a pot and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Add in the diced carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and onions.

When it is boiling, turn the fire down to medium and simmer on medium-low heat for 20 minutes until carrots are soft.

Add in the pork, then give the soup a stir and boil for another 5 mins.

Add salt to taste and serve.
