Juicy and savory seasoned Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packs are simply the most perfect baked or grilled hearty, healthy meal, and done in just 30 minutes!

Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packs

2-2 ½ pounds top sirloin steak (trimmed of fat and

potatoes

olive oil

salt and pepper

garlic

onion powder

oregano

parsley

thyme

thyme or parsley for topping ((optional))

In a large bowl combine steak, potatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic, and seasonings and toss to combine.

Divide steak and potatoes between four 12x12 inch sheets of foil, then wrap the foil tightly around the contents to form your foil packs. Grill over high heat for about 10 minutes on each side or until steak and potatoes are cooked through OR bake at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through to desired doneness (see note).

Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve immediately.

These grilled potatoes in foil are diced potatoes cooked in ranch butter, then topped with melted cheese, bacon, sour cream and chives. All the flavors of a loaded baked potato in foil packet form!

Grilled Potatoes in Foil

butter (melted)

ranch seasoning powder

cheddar cheese

bacon (cooked and crumbled)

sour cream

chives (sliced)

cooking spray

Preheat a grill to medium heat or an oven to 400 degrees F.

Coat 4 large squares of foil with cooking spray.

Place the potatoes in a large bowl along with the butter and ranch seasoning. Toss to coat.

Divide the potatoes evenly among the foil squares. Fold up the foil to seal the packets.

Bake or grill for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Open the foil packets and add the cheese and bacon. Leave the packets open and return to the oven or grill. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Top each packet with a tablespoon of sour cream and sprinkling of chives, then serve immediately.

Grilled Herbed Chicken &amp; Potato Foil Packs are a fun and simple summer dinner that the whole family will love. Chock full of delicious Italian spices, these packets can even be cooked on a camping stove or over a fire!

Grilled Herbed Chicken &amp; Potato Foil Packs

boneless skinless chicken thighs (OR 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts)

garlic powder

basil

dill

salt

black pepper

mushrooms

Stir together seasonings and set aside. Add oil to a bowl along with chicken, potatoes, and mushrooms and toss to coat everything in the oil.

Lay out 4 12x12 sheets of nonstick foil on a flat surface. Divide chicken, potatoes, and mushrooms between each of the foil sheets. (If using thighs there should be 1-2 per foil sheet, if using breasts there should be 1 per foil sheet) Sprinkle with seasoning mixture.

Fold foil over the chicken-potato-mushroom mixture and scrunch the ends of the foil together to close off the foil pack.

Place foil packs on preheated grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, then flip and cook another 5-7 minutes. Check the chicken for doneness, once cooked through, garnish with fresh herbs if desired (such as thyme, rosemary, or oregano) and serve immediately.

Tastes great, but you might re-evaluate the oven method mentioned (400 for 20-25min). I used full-size boneless breasts and it was still pink/raw after 25min with an internal temperature of 110 F.

how would I back them? I live in a apt and can't BBQ.

Used our grill with chicken tenderloins at 15 minutes, turn, 5 minutes.  After reading all thr reviews, I decided to double the seasoning and make sure the potatoes were sliced very thin. Had no problem with the potatoes not being cooked through, in fact, they melted in our mouths.  Thanks for the recipe.
