Juice your lemons. Measure out 1/2 cup, and set the rest aside

Add raspberries to a blender, along with 1/2 cup lemon juice, and blend until smooth.  Once done, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to get the raspberry seeds out.

In a pitcher combine 5 cups water, infused sugar, raspberry puree, and lemon juice.  Mix well to combine.

Serve right away, or keep stored covered in the fridge.

On these hot days, when the body asks us for cool things, a good lemonade is the best option. We love that bitter lemon flavor subtly tempered by the sweet touch of sweetener. Also, making lemonade is the easiest thing in the world. 

Raspberry Lemonade

lemons (juiced)

agave nectar (or your favorite sweetener)

Squeeze the lemons and reserve the juice.

Add raspberries and water to a high-speed blender and process until smooth.

Strain the raspberry mixture using a fine-mesh sieve or a nut milk bag into a pitcher.

Add lemon juice and sweeten to taste. Serve with ice.
