Reindeer Chow Muddy Buddies is an easy, fun, and favorite holiday treat! With minimal ingredients and prep, you will be snacking on this treat in no time!

Reindeer Chow {Muddy Buddies}

Cups Chex cereal

oz holiday m&ms

chocolate

unsalted butter

peanut butter

tsp vanilla extract

sugar

Melt the peanut butter and butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave in 30 second intervals until butter is melted. Add the chocolate a little at a time until all is melted into the mix. You might need to microwave one last time to make sure everything is melted and add the vanilla. Stir together.

In a large bowl add half of the cereal. Drizzle half of the chocolate peanut butter mixture into the cereal in the bowl. Mix with a spoon.

Place one large paper bag into another one. Add 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar and half of the mixed cereal into the bag. Close this tightly and shake vigorously. Add more powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time if needed until all the cereal is coated. Add 1/4 of the m&amp;ms into the bag and toss. Place in an air tight container.

Continue these step with the remaining ingredients.&nbsp;Keep stored in an airtight container. I personally love to keep it in the freezer, YUM!

Santa shouldn&#039;t get all of the treats! This fun and festive reindeer chow is a sweet and salty mix of cereal, pretzels, peanuts and M&amp;Ms.

M&Ms (red and green 11.40 oz bag)

pretzels (halved sticks or mini twists)

peanuts

oz white chocolate

tbsp vegetable shortening

tbsp festive sprinkles (optional)

Line a rimmed baking sheet with wax paper, parchment or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl combine the cereal, M&amp;Ms, pretzels, and peanuts. Set aside.

In a double boiler or in the microwave, melt white chocolate and shortening until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract.

Pour chocolate over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated. Pour over the prepared baking sheet, add sprinkles over top.

Place in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes before breaking apart into chunks.

Christmas Muddy Buddies

Chex cereal

(2 4-ounce) white chocolate baking bars

white yogurt covered pretzels (roughly chopped)

mini red and green M&Ms

tbsp Festive sprinkles

In a large bowl, combine the chex cereal and salted peanuts.

Break the white chocolate baking bars into smaller pieces in a microwave safe bowl. Melt the bars in the microwave in 20 second increments. Stir the white chocolate in between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted.

Pour the melted chocolate over the Chex cereal mixture and stir until everything is thoroughly coated.

Liberally sprinkle the powdered sugar into the bowl, stirring the powdered sugar and Chex/chocolate mixture together until the Chex cereal is completely coated in the powdered sugar. If you are having trouble, you can pour the cereal into a gallon sized bag and shake it to evenly distribute the powdered sugar.

Transfer everything to a large serving bowl. Leave excess powdered sugar in the mixing bowl.

Mix the white yogurt covered pretzels and red and green mini M&amp;Ms into the mixture until the ingredients are distributed throughout the bowl as evenly as possible.

Add some festive sprinkles over the top of the serving bowl. Enjoy!

Combine the Corn Chex, Rice Chex, and Cheerios in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter then microwave for 30 seconds and stir. If everything isn&#39;t completely melted, microwave for an additional 30 seconds, stir until it is completely melted and smooth

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and mix well, evenly coating the cereal.

Combine powdered sugar and cocoa in a large gallon sized ziplock bag. Add chocolate coated cereal to the bag and zip closed. Toss the cereal in the bag until it is all coated with the powdered sugar mixture.

Once all the cereal is coated, pour it out onto a baking sheet to cool.

Combine M&amp;Ms, mini peanut butter cups, and pretzels in a large serving bowl then add the cooled cereal mix and carefully stir to combine.

Christmas Puppy Chow transforms a traditional muddy buddy recipe into a festive Reindeer Chow mix! The perfect no-bake dessert for any party or event.

When fully melted, stir in vanilla.

Pour chocolate mixture over Chex cereal in 3 stages, folding as you go.

Toss gently to coat all pieces.

Place powdered sugar and festive sprinkles in a large, airtight plastic bag, shake to combine.

Add Chex cereal in stages, tossing to cover and then removing to a wax paper lined rimmed baking sheet.

Spread in a single layer and chill for an hour to set.

Remove. Keep at room temperture or chilled.
