These Easy Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies are decorated with pretzels, candy eyes, and M&amp;Ms. Kids and adults will love these delicious, cute, and fun Christmas cookies! 

Easy Peanut Butter Reindeer Cookies (Kid-Friendly!)

salted butter, softened

egg,

vanilla

peanut butter (not natural)

tbsp + 2 tsp granulated sugar

brown sugar

+ 2 tbsp self-rising flour

itty bitty mini pretzels

candy eyes

M&Ms

white chocolate chips, melted

Start by placing your softened butter in a large mixing bowl and cream together with the creamy peanut butter using an electric hand mixer.

Add in brown sugar and sugar and mix together until creamy. Add room temperature eggs and vanilla and mix until just combined.

Next, begin adding in your flour 1/2 cup at a time until fully incorporated and your cookie dough has formed.

Cover cookie dough with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight to chill.

Remove chilled cookie dough from refrigerator and preheat oven to 350.

Using a small cookie scoop like this one form cookie dough balls. Next, roll each ball until smooth and pinch the sides to form an hourglass shape. Press down slightly on the top of each cookie with the palm of your hand and place evenly spaced apart on a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes until the bottoms are lightly golden brown. Times may vary and require less or more time depending on your oven.

Once fully baked, remove from the oven and let cool on the pan for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire cooling rack to cool for 10 minutes.

To decorate the cookies, melt 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips in the microwave and gather 40 mini itty bitty pretzels. Dip the bottom back side of each pretzel and adhere two of them to the tops of each cookie.

Next, place the remaining white chocolate chips in a small Ziploc bag, snip a small opening in the corner with a pair of scissors, and place three small dots of white chocolate on each cookie to adhere the eyes and nose.

Gently place the candy eyes and brown or red M&amp;Ms on each cookie and let the white chocolate firm up for 15 minutes before serving.

Reindeer Cookies

unsalted butter (softened)

Wilton royal icing bow transfers

Wilton black candy melts

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Melt the black candy melt is a double boiler, then spoon into a disposable piping bag.

Pipe out antlers, approximately 1 inch in length. You will need 28 antlers but make extra, in case of breakage.

Allow to cool completely and firm.

Make the Antlers:

Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment or silicone baking mats.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; set aside

In a medium bowl, using a hand mixer, cream together butter and sugar until thoroughly combined. Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.

Blend in dry ingredients, just until incorporate (don&#039;t overmix!)

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 1/4-1/2 thick rectangle. Using a 2 3/4-3 inch diameter circle cookie cutter, Cut 12 cookies, and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake cookies 8-10 minutes, or until cookies are lightly golden brown. Cool completely on the baking rack.

Make the Cookies:

Spread a generous layer of chocolate frosting over each cookie.

Place 2 large eyes and 1 red M&amp;M to create the face.

Carefully peel of antlers and position 2 on the top corners.

For the Does, place a red bow above the eyes and between the antlers.

For the Bucks, place a black bow below the nose.

Decorate:

Beat

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter and brown sugar on medium until smooth and creamy. Add in the molasses and beat until smooth. Mix in the egg and vanilla just until combined, scraping down the sides as needed.

Whisk

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Add to the butter mixture and mix on low just until combined.

Chill

Divide the dough in 1/2 and wrap separately in plastic wrap. Press into flat discs. Chill at least 1 hour and up to 3 days.

Preheat

When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or a baking mat.

Shape

Portion dough into 24 pieces and roll into balls. Flatten each ball and then shape the dough into an upside-down triangle.

Bake

Transfer to the baking sheets, spacing at least 1 inch apart. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until the centers are set and the cookies are fluffy, being careful not to burn.

Decorate

Remove from the oven and immediately press 2 pretzels into the top (or long side) of the triangle for antlers. Add an M&amp;M to the point of the triangle for the nose. Press chocolate chips in the center for the eyes (you can also use candy eyes). Repeat with remaining cookies. Let cool on the pan a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

24-28 mini Nilla Wafers

24-28 red and brown m&ms

48-56 mini pretzels

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium sized bowl combine your cake mix, eggs and vegetable oil and stir together to make a thick cookie batter.

Scoop 1 1/2 - 2 TBS of dough and roll into a ball. Repeat with additional dough.

Place 12 cookies onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone liner.

Bake cookies for about 8 minutes until the tops start to get crinkly.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet.

Transfer to cooling rack to cool completely.

Spread frosting over the top of a cookie.

Place one nilla wafer onto the bottom half of cookie.

Place two candy eyes above the nilla wafer.

Place two pretzels above the eyes like antlers.

Attach one m&amp;m to each Nilla wafer using frosting.

Allow frosting to set and serve!

These cookies were easy to make and turned out adorable...oh and they taste great too! I've never made cake mix cookies before and I almost made my chocolate sugar cookie instead, but I'm glad I gave these a try. They are so soft and delicious and super easy to whip up. I only got 21 cookies using a 2 T. cookie scoop to form my cookies, but no worries. I did, however, opt for a homemade chocolate buttercream instead of jarred frosting. They turned out super cute and got so many compliments from friends. I will definitely be adding these to my ever growing roster of Christmas cookies.

CRAZY Cute Reindeer Cookies!

These Reindeer Cookies are fun but easy Christmas cookies. They are the perfect for Christmas cookie exchange recipe. They will please a crowd in a minute.

Tablespoons milk

All Purpose Flour

pretzel twists

Candy Eyes

Red M&Ms

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 

In a medium size mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda and salt.  Set aside. 

In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer or stand up mixer to combine the butter, brown sugar, peanut butter, milk and vanilla extract.  Mix at medium speed until combined. 

Then add in the egg and mix until the egg is incorporated in the batter. 

Reduce the mixer speed down to low and slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.  Be careful not to over mix the batter. 

Use a cookie scoop to roll the batter into approximately 2 tablespoons size balls.  Then form each of the balls into triangle shapes.  Then place them on a baking sheet. 

Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes until the cookies are just set. 

Remove the cookies and decorate them quickly while the cookies are still warm. 

Use the pretzels to form the antlers at the large size of the triangles on the cookies and use the candy eyes and red M&amp;Ms to make the reindeer faces on each of the cookies. 

Let the cookies sit for 5 minutes on the baking sheets.  

Carefully transfer them to wire racks to cool completely. 

Then the cookies are ready to serve and enjoy!
