This sugar-free sweet treat is simple to make thanks to store-bought keto marshmallows and protein cereal!

Keto Rice Krispie Treats

Keto Max Mallow marshmallows (14 marshmallows)

There is gooey, soft and melty Rice Krispie Treats in the pancakes. YES! They get a little caramelized and melty and it is so good.

Rice Krispie Treat Pancakes with Browned Butter Syrup.

flour

buttermilk (may swap coconut milk or regular milk)

vanilla extract

eggs

butter (melted)

salted butter (1 stick)

bag mini marshmallows (10)

Rice Krispies

brown sugar

buttermilk (may swap regular milk or canned coconut milk)

baking soda

To make the syrup melt the butter over medium heat in a medium size pot. When the butter begins to foam remove it from the heat and slowly add the brown sugar, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Whisk until smooth, return the pot to the heat and bring to a boil. Allow the syrup to thicken slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.

In a large bowl add the buttermilk ,eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Whisk to combine. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Line an 8x8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot add 1 stick butter, melt butter over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and turn off the heat. Stir the marshmallows around until completely melted, about five minutes. If the marshmallows are not fully melting turn the heat back on to low and stir until smooth and melted. Grease 1/3 cup measuring spoon and scoop out 1/3 cup of marshmallows. Stir the 1/3 cup of melted marshmallows into the pancake batter.

Now add the Rice Krispies to the pot with the remaining melted marshmallows and coat them completely in marshmallows. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish (the treats will not completely fill the square pan). You just want one even layer of Rice Krispie treats. Tear away a few bits and pieces of the Rice Krispie treats and stir them into the pancake batter.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease well with butter or cooking spray. Using a 1/4 cup measure, spoon batter into rounds. Tear a few more bits of Rice Krispies away from the square and place them on top of the pancakes, cook until bubbles form on top, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another minute or two more. Repeat with remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes warm, drizzled with the butter syrup and a square of Rice Krispie treats if desired. Enjoy!

You don’t need a campfire to enjoy a summertime favorite. S’mores Bars are a chocolate Rice Krispie bar topped with roasted marshmallows. There’s nothing like a gooey roasted marshmallow.

½ cups mini pretzel twists (salted, some crushed, some not)

Line an 8 x 8 inch pan with parchment paper and butter the parchment and sides of the pan.

In a large microwave safe bowl, combine butter and 10 ounces of mini marshmallows. Microwave until melted and smooth checking every 30 seconds. Immediately add all the chopped chocolate and microwave for a few seconds until melted, add vanilla.

With a rubber spatula fold in the cereal and pretzels quickly before the mixture gets cold. Press into the prepared baking dish and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.

Turn on broiler of oven. Top cold bars with mini marshmallows so that the top is covered, about 6 ounces. Place under broiler and cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown. Watch carefully so that they don’t burn. Cut right away and serve while still warm.

Loaded with marshmallows, a rich buttery flavor, soft melted caramels and crisp cereal, these are the best kind of no bake dessert bar.

Coat a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

In a large saucepan, add the sugar and corn syrup and combine.

Turn the stovetop on low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.  DO NOT let the mixture boil.  Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat.  (If you see any bubbles begin to form, remove it immediately from the stovetop)

Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla

Stir in the Rice Krispies, being careful not to crush them, but making sure they&#39;re well-combined

Pour into the prepared pan and pat into place

In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate and butterscotch chips

Cook on high in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is melted and smooth

Spread over the Rice Krispie mixture and let cool before cutting into bars.....if you can wait! :)

I actually heated my sugar and corn syrup in my microwave and one minute intervals stirring after each minute and I think it took about 5 minutes to get everything combined. Mine had always came out too hard before and that was the biggest problem. Your recipe is definitely a keeper!

For the top layer, 2 cups of chips total wasn't enough to give a decent layer to look like the picture. It was more rough, showing the shape of the cereal. I added another layer.

How-to-Make-Best-Ever-Scotcheroos

These Christmas Rice Krispie Treats are the easiest holiday dessert! This nostalgic dessert is amped up with brown butter, vanilla and almond extract, and become festive by using sprinkles and holiday M&amp;Ms!

Christmas Rice Krispie Treats

oz mini marshmallows

tsp vanilla extract

tsp almond extract

oz white chocolate

Line a 9×13 pan with parchment paper. Lightly mist with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. In a large pot melt your butter. Once melted, continually stir until the butter just begins to brown. The butter should foam up twice and then begin to give off almost a nutty aroma. Immediately remove from heat so the butter does not burn.

Immediately stir in the two teaspoons of vanilla extract. The hot mixture will bubble up, so continue to stir an additional thirty seconds until the sizzling subsides. Add in salt.

Add in one bag or half of your marshmallows and mix until almost completely melted before adding the remaining. Stir until all of the marshmallows are entirely combined and melted. At this point, add in the Rice Krispies, 2 cups at a time, and lightly stir until combined. Continue to add the Rice Krispies until everything is evenly combined. 

Add in the M&amp;Ms and holiday sprinkles. Stir only until incorporated or the M&amp;Ms will start to melt. Pour the mixture into the 9×13 pan. Lightly wet your hands and gently push into the pan to the edges. You don&#39;t want to crush it, so really be gentle with it!

For the Rice Krispies:

Break up the white chocolate and add to a heat proof bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir and repeat until completely melted. Once it&#39;s ready, set aside for 3 minutes to chill down to room temperature. Using a spoon, drizzle about half of the white chocolate onto the treats. Sprinkle on the M&amp;Ms and sprinkles. Use the rest of the white chocolate to drizzle on top of the garnishes. This helps to lock them onto the dessert so they don&#39;t all fall off!

For the garnish:

Worst recipe ever. Too much butter for the amount of marshmallows and Rice Krispies you need. With something like I would stick with a 1/2 cup of butter, not a cup!

10 out of 10! This recipe was delicious!!! I ended up running out of Rice Krispies at about 8 cups and it still came out perfect - moist and flavorful!! Not to mention the presentation as everyone at Thanksgiving thought they were store-bought! Thank you so much for this recipe!!

Instead of adding salt and using salted butter I added pretzels! *mwah chefs kiss*  and half of it I just kept plain with unsalted butter marshmallow and rice crispy for the baby! Anyone can do this, perfect for family’s basically the kids could help decorate. Hardest part is the browning of the butter because you don’t want to burn it.  So much fun!

Not enough mini marshmallows for the amount of rice krispies, my recipe came out extremely dry and crumbly.

The brown butter was something I never tried but there’s turned out to be the best rice crispies I’ve ever had! I was able to make these up within 15 minutes and then drizzled with white, green and red chocolate (white). Bought the different colors from Michaels store.

Slow Cooker Snowballs

Add white chocolate chips to slow cooker and turn on low. Cook for 30 minutes, then stir and cook for another 15-20 or until fully melted.

Mix in slivered almonds, shredded, coconut, and rice krispies.

Leave slow cooker on low as you start the scooping process to keep chocolate in a melted state.

Use a greased cookie scoop to scoop mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet or large cutting board.

Allow snowballs to fully cool, then store in an airtight container.
