Making roasted cauliflower steaks is the best way to show all this veggie has to offer! They&#039;re amazingly tender and tossed in a mouthwatering blend of garlic, paprika, and parmesan.

Roasted Cauliflower Steaks

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Prepare the cauliflower by washing it and trimming the leaves and bottom of the core.

Slice the cauliflower into 3/4 inch slices. The outer cauliflower will fall off.  You can roast them on the edges of the cauliflower steaks.

Lay the cauliflower steaks into a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil on top.

Combine the paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, and parmesan. Sprinkle evenly on each side of the cauliflower.

Roast the cauliflower for 10 minutes and flip. Roast for an additional 10 minutes or until they are tender and brown.

Cauliflower steaks are easy to make entre&nbsp;that is oven roasted with simple seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Serve the vegetable steak with a flavorful sauce or toppings for a customizable dish.

Adjust oven rack to the lower third position. Preheat to 500ºF (260ºC).

Remove the outer green leaves from the head of cauliflower and trim the stem.

Using a large knife cut the cauliflower in half lengthwise through the center.

Cut a 1 ½-inch thick steak from each half. If the head is large, carefully cut one more steak from each of the cut sides.

Repeat process with the other head of cauliflower. Trim any florets not connected to the stem. There should be about 4 to 8 pieces total.

Place cauliflower steaks on a rimmed baking sheet.

In a small bowl mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each cauliflower steak.

Evenly sprinkle the seasoning mixture on both sides of the cauliflower steaks, about ¼ teaspoon per side.

Tightly cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for 5 minutes.

Remove the foil from the cauliflower and roast for 10 minutes.

Gently flip the cauliflower steak and roast until a golden brown crust forms on both sides, about 6 to 8 minutes.

Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with parsley.

Prep. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice the cauliflower. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower heads and trim the stem end to create a flat base for the cauliflower to stand on. Slice each cauliflower head vertically into 1-inch thick slices, creating &quot;cauliflower steaks.&quot; Don’t worry if the ends fall apart a bit. You can still roast those.

Season the cauliflower. Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and half of the parsley. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the olive oil mixture.

Roast. Arrange the seasoned cauliflower steaks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown, flipping them halfway through cooking.

Serve. Serve them warm, drizzled with olive oil, and garnished with the remaining parsley.

This cauliflower steak recipe is a delicious, satisfying plant-based meal! I call for two cauliflowers here so that you can cut 4 really sturdy, cohesive steaks. You&#039;ll have quite a bit of cauliflower leftover. Simply roast the florets, or save them to use in one of the cauliflower recipes linked above.

Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Remove the coarse outer leaves of each cauliflower, then slice 2 (1½ -inch-thick) “steaks” from the center of each cauliflower, keeping the core intact. Cutting the steaks from the center is the best way to get slabs that will stay intact through the cooking process. You’ll have quite a bit of cauliflower leftover. Save it to make our Cauliflower Pasta or any of these cauliflower recipes another day!

Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush with oil. Place one or two cauliflower steaks in the pan and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining cauliflower steaks. Transfer each steak to the baking sheet, sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper, drizzle with a little bit more olive oil, and roast in the oven for 22 to 28 minutes, or until the core is fork-tender.

Make the topping: In a small bowl, stir together the pine nuts, hazelnuts, parsley, raisins, lemon zest, capers, chili, and olive oil.

Assemble plates with a slather of the pesto, a cauliflower steak, spoonfuls of the topping, and another drizzle of olive oil, if desired, and serve.

Roasted cauliflower steaks are the perfect side dish to any meal! Seasoned to perfection and a cinch to make.

Preheat oven to 420-degrees F.

Prep the cauliflower by first removing the leaves. Remove leaves by cutting off the stem as close to the head as you can without actually cutting the florets (if there are some leaves left, no worries, you can trim them off when you slice the cauliflower – or just leave them and eat them, they are edible!).

Place cauliflower heads stem side down on a cutting board and slice the cauliflower into 3/4” to 1” thick slices. Your first few slices may not stay as “steaks”; you will just get some small crumbles and that’s okay as you will still use these pieces. You should get about 3 solid “steaks” per head of cauliflower.

Repeat above step for both cauliflower heads.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your cauliflower “steaks” and leftover florets on the baking sheet.

In a small bowl, mix the extra-virgin olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Brush each cauliflower steak, and all florets, with oil mixture. Flip each piece of cauliflower over and brush other side with remaining oil.

Bake for 30 minutes, flipping steaks and smaller pieces half-way through.

Sprinkle with sea-salt after they have baked/before serving. And you can sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
