Magic Salmon Seasoning

smoked paprika or sweet paprika

garlic powder

onion powder

thyme

celery seed

teaspoon kosher salt

cumin

allspice

Whisk the ingredients together in a small bowl. Transfer to an airtight container or jar. Store for 6 months to 1 year in a cool, dry place.

How to season salmon

Use 1 tablespoon salmon seasoning for every 1/2 pound (8 ounces) of salmon.

Fresh &amp; flavorful, this salmon seasoning is the perfect addition to a healthy, flaky salmon filet!

Salmon Seasoning

paprika

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

salt (or

lemon zest

black pepper

thyme leaves (optional)

Combine spices in a small bowl.

Rub salmon fillets with olive oil.

Sprinkle seasoning mixture over salmon fillets and bake, broil or grill to desired doneness.

To Use

Flavorful salmon seasoning that is sweet, savory, smokey, and delicious! Perfect for grilling, roasting, broiling, or pan searing.

Make the salmon seasoning. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, using a fork or whisk to break up any clumps from the brown sugar. Sprinkle liberally on salmon. One batch will season an entire 2 pound salmon filet. Use immediately.

Reserve the zested lime. Bonus advice, reserve the lime you zested for the seasoning and squeeze the juice over the seasoned salmon while you are grilling or roasting it.

We made this recipe for the first time headrest. We made this recipe and also another so we could compare. The other wax a lemon/dill recipe, seems very common. While the other was really good, this brown sugar recipe was absolutely outstanding! Everyone in our party of 10 just raved about it, and even a 1 yr old loved it and ate a lot. Seriously crazy good!
