These Air Fryer Salmon Steaks are inspired with Asian flavors. It’s the perfect healthy dinner recipe that can be made in under 30 minutes with only a few ingredients.

Air Fryer Salmon Steak Recipe (Asian Flavor Inspired)

Salmon

Worcestershire Sauce

tbsp. Rice Vinegar

tbsp. Garlic Paste

tbsp. Sesame Oil

Kosher Salt

Garnishes – Sesame seeds. Optional.

combine the ingredients

Wash and pat dry the fish. Place the salmon steaks in a bowl. In a small bowl, mix all of the remaining ingredients.

marinate the salmon steak

Pour the seasoning mixture over the salmon. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 1 hour or overnight.Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Then place the salmon in the air fryer. DO NOT DISCARD THE MARINADE.

Cook the salmon steak in the air fryer

Cook for 15 minutes on 400 degrees. After 15 minutes, open the basket and turn the salmon over and add the remaining marinade to the fish. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until your desired doneness.Garnish your salmon steaks with sesame seeds (optional) and serve warm with the preferred side.

These Maple Soy Grilled Salmon Steaks involve only a handful of ingredients and require a minimal amount of your time! Full of flavor and cooks quickly - need I say more? 

Maple Soy Grilled Salmon Steaks

salmon

soy sauce (low sodium)

maple syrup

sesame oil

ginger (minced)

garlic (minced)

red pepper flakes

sesame seeds (optional)

green onions (chopped, for garnish)

In a shallow dish or a baking dish whisk together the soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and the pepper flakes. Add salmon to the dish and turn it around to get the glaze all over. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate for at least an hour.

Grill the salmon on both sides, until salmon is cooked through or to your liking. I left mine about 4 minutes per side. As you're grilling the salmon, brush with remaining glaze on each side.
