Best Buttermilk Biscuits are better than any you will get anywhere. Growing up, we had biscuits with almost every meal. So I feel like I am a biscuit aficionado. These biscuits are seriously the best biscuits to eat and make. There is no need to look any further for the perfect biscuit. You have arrived.  They’re buttery and perfectly flaky on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside!

Golden Garlic Butter Biscuits with Havarti Cheese

(190 grams) all-purpose flour

garlic powder

¾ cup (180 milliliters) milk

lemon juice

(56 grams) unsalted butter, melted

(85 grams) Havarti cheese, grated

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Set aside.

In a small bowl, stir together the milk and lemon juice. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the milk begins to curdle (this creates buttermilk).

Add the melted butter to the buttermilk mixture and stir until combined.

Gradually fold the buttermilk mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Scoop ¼ cup portions of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. For easier scooping, spray your measuring cup with non-stick cooking spray.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley.

As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush them generously with the garlic herb butter.

These biscuits are dangerously good. I could eat a whole batch myself. Im not gonna. I could, but not gonna. Promise!

I added a little rosemary to the herb butter, and it was incredible.

Preheat oven to 450˚F.

In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and baking soda and whisk to combine. Using a fork or a pastry cutter, cut the cold Land O Lakes® Garlic &amp; Herb Butter Spread into the flour mixture until crumbly. Make a well in the center, place cheese and chives in the well and pour buttermilk over. Carefully and slowly stir until it comes together and makes dough

Turn the dough out onto lightly floured surface and, with floured hands, give it a quick knead 3-4 times to bring it together. Pat the dough into an 8×8 square, about 1 inch thick, and cut into 9 square biscuits

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment or a silpat, brush with melted butter spread, sprinkle with salt and pepper and place in a hot oven until puffed up and golden brown, around 15-18 minutes

Slice each biscuit in half and serve with prosciutto, scrambled eggs and softened butter spread slathered on top

These are so easy, and DELICIOUS! Make them immediately!
