Shrimp Pesto Pasta

It was fabulous!!  My husband went for seconds. He NEVER goes for seconds with pasta!   I used veggie pasta and also added sautéed onions and mushrooms. Perfect!!

I have used/served this many times. Every time my guests want the recipe. It is easy and delicious. A winning combination!

Excellent flavor! I tried it with Angel hair pasta, ended up clumpy. But the flavor was on point!

Roasted Shrimp and Asparagus Pasta

whole-wheat spaghetti

lb. asparagus, trimmed,

garlic, chopped

pepper

lb. large peeled and deveined shrimp

red pepper flakes,

c. flat-leaf parsley, chopped

This Shrimp and Chorizo pasta is a quick and easy mid-week meal - you can have this dish on the table in just 10 minutes. The key to this dish is the hard chorizo sausage which, when fried gives up its deliciously flavored oil. This oil is used to cook the shrimp, garlic and coat the pasta, creating an instant simple sauce without the need for cream or tomatoes. Serve with a side salad for a delicious pasta dinner.

Shrimp Chorizo Pasta

oz long pasta (- see note 1)

chorizo sausages (- see note 2)

shrimp

garlic (crushed/grated)

paprika

1/4-1/2 tsp red chili flakes (- optional)

Salt and pepper

Bring a large pan of water to a boil, then salt it generously.

Add the pasta and set a timer for 1 minutes less than the suggested cooking time. When draining the pasta reserving ½ cup (125ml) of the cooking liquid.

Whilst the pasta is cooking, cut the chorizo into thick disks.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add the chorizo and fry for 5 minutes turning often until golden and crispy.

Remove the chorizo from the frying pan, keeping the oil behind.

Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minute, then add in the paprika (chili flakes if using) and crushed garlic and cook for another minute.

Add a 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking liquid and bring the sauce to a simmer.

Add the drained pasta and toss to coat the pasta well in the oily sauce.

Taste for seasoning and then serve garnished with parsley.

This one-pot recipe might be the easiest seafood pasta you ever make. Is there any better combo than succulent shrimp and gooey cheese? Nope!

Roasted Shrimp Parmesan

rustic bread, torn into 3/4-in. pieces

garlic, finely chopped

lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined

mozzarella cheese, grated (about 1 c.)

tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 425°F.&nbsp;Heat 2 tbsp. oil in large oven-safe skillet on medium-low. Add bread and toss in oil to coat, then season with 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper. Transfer skillet to oven and bake until bread is golden brown and crisp, 8 to 10 min.

Transfer bread to plate, then add remaining tbsp. oil and garlic to skillet. Cook, stirring, until garlic begins to turn golden brown, about 1 min. Add tomatoes and 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper and cook, tossing occasionally, until tomatoes begin to release their juices, 5 to 7 min. Fold in half of basil.

Fold shrimp and bread into tomato mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan and bake until shrimp are opaque throughout and cheese is golden brown and bubbling, 14 to 16 min. Scatter remaining basil on top; serve immediately

This  Shrimp Pasta, is a delicious fresh herb Italian sautéed shrimp recipe, made even better served tossed with pasta. Fast and easy never tasted so good.

Easy Italian Shrimp Pasta

shrimp (medium or large, peeled and deveined)

garlic (minced)

Italian parsley (freshly chopped divided)

salt ((additional salt if desired))

hot pepper flakes

Cook the pasta al dente in a large pot of boiling salted water. Stirring often.

While the pasta is cooking, in a large frying pan add the olive oil, garlic, chopped parsley, shrimp, salt and hot pepper flakes. Cook on medium heat until shrimps are cooked and no longer pink approximately 5-6 minutes, if you use pre-cooked shrimp then cook for only 1-2 minutes, but watch them and stir occasionally, because you don&#39;t want them to burn or stick to the pan.

When shrimps are cooked, add the cooked al dente pasta and ¼ cup (60 grams) of pasta water, cook on high heat tossing together until the water has evaporated approximately 1 minutes,  almost becoming a creamy mixture, serve immediately topped with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!

Marry Me Shrimp Pasta

rigatoni

unsalted butter

salt (divided)

tsp black pepper (divided)

garlic powder

tsp sweet paprika

garlic

tomatoes

Italian seasoning

tbsp flour

heavy cream

tbsp tomato paste

lemon juice

basil leaves

Parmesan

chili flakes (for serving)

Get your prep done before you start to cook. Peel en devein the shrimp. In a bowl, combine shrimp with paprika,  garlic powder, ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper. Set aside.

cutting

Mince the garlic, grate the Parmesan, chop the sun-dried tomatoes and chop the basil leaves.

boiling

Boil the rigatoni al dente in salted water, according to the package directions. Drain, when ready.

searing

In the meantime, heat oil and butter over medium high in a large skillet. Place shrimp in a single layer, and sear for 1 minute per side. Remove from skillet into a clean bowl.

cooking

Add garlic, sauté for 1 minute over medium low. Then add the sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and the remaining salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more. Add flour, stir until incorporated. Deglaze with chicken broth, simmer for 2 minutes while scraping up the brown bits on the bottom of your skillet with a wooden spoon.

Pour in cream and stir in tomato paste, bring to a boil. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3 minutes or until the pasta finishes cooking. Next, add lemon juice and basil. Finally stir in Parmesan.

serving

Toss with pasta and shrimp. Finish off with chili flakes. Enjoy!

Couple of adjustments that I made; don’t use the flour, add pasta water instead. Pasta water already has starch in it, which acts as a thickener. Also, instead of using all the broth, use part of it and sub white wine. It added a lovely addition to the taste! I used calamarata (or pacchiere, it’s also called)  pasta.

I struggle to make recipes come to life in my kitchen but this recipe was detailed and user friendly. It is the tastiest dish I have made from any recipe outside of my family and I will definitely be remaking it. It has made me hopeful to explore other recipes on the site.

Amazing. Only differences were that I used fire roasted tomatoes instead and added a little sugar to the sauce at the end. Restaurant quality for sure.

I made this with a few substitutions since I am gluten and dairy free, it turned out delicious! I will say next time I am buying my shrimp already cleaned 😛 it took so long!! Other than the prep this was a huge hit, thank you so much for sharing the recipe!

Marry Me Shrimp Pasta Recipe! Fast, Easy and SO DELICIOUS!

Light, fresh, and delicious lemon garlic shrimp pasta. This shrimp pasta recipe is made with shrimp, lemon, shallots, garlic, basil, and spaghetti. An easy 20-minute dinner!

Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta (20-Minute Meal!)

pasta ((spaghetti, capellini, linguine, angel hair))

shallots

lemon juice ((~4 lemons))

lemons

Roughly chopped fresh basil and lemon slices as garnish

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain then return the pasta back to the pot. Add a drizzle of olive oil on top to keep the pasta from sticking together. Set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 1 minute then add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Careful not to overcook the shrimp! Remove the skillet from heat.

Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to the skillet over the cooked shrimp. Taste and adjust salt/pepper to your liking.

Toss in the cooked pasta until well combined. Garnish with basil. Serve and enjoy!

Tried tonight and def will do again!  Easy-peasy to make... we aren’t huge pasta eaters so it’s a nice change compared to the basic tomato sauces.  
This has good flavor but only downfall is not enough juice.
I made tenderloins also for a nice surf-and-turf meal.

Usually make pastas with sauces, but wanted to try a little healthier option. This was pretty great, just a bit too much lemon flavor. So will add less next time. Definitely one to add to a list of recipes to keep making though!

This shrimp pasta recipe is easy yet elegant! With lemon, garlic and Parmesan cheese, it&#39;s full of delicious flavor. I love to make this recipe with long, wide pasta noodles such as fettuccine, but it will work with any pasta shape you enjoy. Serve it with a salad or roasted asparagus, plus bread if you&#39;re feeding hearty appetites.

Easy Shrimp Pasta

fettuccine pasta (or your favorite pasta shape)

salt and pepper (to taste)

unsalted butter (divided)

garlic (minced*)

Parmesan cheese* (plus more for serving)

red pepper flakes (more

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water (you will not use the full cup, but I find it easy to just scoop out one measuring cup&#39;s worth). Drain pasta; do not rinse.

Meanwhile, pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted and the pan is hot, add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Transfer shrimp to a clean plate and cover to keep warm.

Add the remaining tablespoon of butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Add the cooked pasta and a few tablespoons of the reserved pasta cooking water. Toss to combine. Remove pan from the heat.

Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, red pepper flakes and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, to taste, evenly over the pasta. If you&#39;d like the dish to have more lemon flavor, you can also squeeze in a bit of the juice from the lemon. (I usually do!) Toss to combine.

Add the cooked shrimp and toss to mix it into the pasta. Garnish with more Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley and serve.

Delicious shrimp and pasta dish!  So quick and easy to put together.  My husband and both kids gobbled it up!

Today I&#039;m here to bring you a knockout Prawn bavette pasta recipe: prawns, garlic, pan fried tomatoes and lots of parsley.

Prawn bavette pasta recipe

400 gr pasta (bavette)

shrimps

300 gr tomatoes (ripe)

salt and pepper

chili

With a peeler, remove the skin off your tomatoes;

Heat a pan and pour some EVO, add a clove of garlic, chop your tomatoes roughly and chuck everything in. Add chili if you like;

Lid on, cook for 10-15 minutes, adding salt and a ladle of boiling water that you will use to cook the past;

In the meanwhile, get some linguine in abundant boiling water and cook till &quot;al dente&quot;;

When the sauce is ready and creamy, add the prawns in there. Cook for a few minutes;

The pasta is al dente, toss everything together, sprinkle LOTS of finely chopped parsley and stir well;

Serve with some white wine and...
