Sipo Egg is the ultimate vegetable dish. Hearty, flavorful and loaded with mixed vegetables quail eggs, and creamy sauce, it&#039;s sure to be a family favorite.

Sipo Egg

quail eggs,

butter

onion,

garlic,

fish sauce

carrots,

(jicama),

water or chicken stock

sweet peas, thawed

table cream (all-purpose cream)

salt and pepper

In a wide pan over medium heat, heat butter until melted.&nbsp;

Add onions and garlic and cook, stirring regularly, until softened.

Add fish sauce and continue to cook for about 1 minute.

Add carrots and jicama and stir to combine.&nbsp;

Add water or stock and bring to a boil. Continue to cook for about 7 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender yet crisp and liquid is reduced.&nbsp;

Add green peas and stir to combine.

Add cream and eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 

Continue to simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes or until green peas and eggs are heated through, vegetables are tender-crisp, and sauce is slightly thickened. Serve hot.

ham (- cubed)

ml all-purpose cream (or heavy whipping cream)

singkamas (mexican turnip) (- cubed)

cornstarch (-

In a pan, heat butter and oil over medium heat. Cook the shrimps until all sides are done. Remove the shrimps from butter and set aside.

In the same pan with butter, saute garlic and onion until tender. Next, add the carrots and green peas. If using canned green peas then this should be added at the end. Mix in the ham and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and let simmer until carrots are almost cooked.

Add the quail eggs, shrimp and singkamas or kohlrabi then pour in the all-purpose cream and stir. Season with salt and peppers and let it simmer under medium heat for about 3 minutes.

Add the cornstarch mixture and mix for about another 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Serve warm and enjoy.
