Our Sloppy Jane recipe is a healthy cross between chili and Sloppy Joes that makes great sandwiches.  This is a hearty sandwich is made with ground turkey or ground chicken so it is lighter and lower in calories. 

Sloppy Jane Sandwiches

vegetable oil

onion (chopped)

turkey

tomato sauce

Worcestershire sauce

chili powder

cumin

pepper

hamburger buns, buttered and toasted

Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet.&nbsp; Add the onion and stir often until softened; about 3-5 minutes.

Add the turkey.&nbsp; Use spoon or spatula to break up into small pieces and cook for about 5 minutes until the meat is no longer pink.

Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to low and cook until the flavors are blended, about 10 minutes.
