The BEST Hot Dog Chili (SERIOUSLY!)

onion,

olive oil

garlic,

tomato paste

water

chili powder

cumin

salt

pepper

garlic powder

cayenne pepper (or

lb chuck

Tater Tots

chili No Beans

Cheddar cheese

tbs chopped white onions

whole jalapeno, small sliced

tbs Ranch salad dressing

Prepare the tater tots according to package directions. While the tater tots are heating up be sure to heat the chili in a small pan on the stove over low heat. When the tater tots are done place them in a small serving dish. Add chili, cheese, chopped white onions, pickled jalapeno slices, and drizzle with Ranch salad dressing.

Homemade Cherry Limeade

sugar

lime juice

maraschino cherries (juice included, without stems)

lemon-lime soda (I used Sprite)

cherry juice (tart or regular.)

In a small saucepan add lime juice and sugar over low heat.

Stir until sugar has melted and the mixture is syrupy.

Remove from heat and allow mixture to cool.

Pour into a pitcher.

Add cherries, soda and cherry juice.

Stir and serve over ice.

Garnish with lime and mint if desired.

Ok I have solved the formula.  I mix all the ingredients except the sprite, in a bottle that I can keep in the refrigerator and  that I can pour over ice about two or three tabelspoons.  Then add my lemon soda, I too prefer Sprite.  So you can enjoy your cherry limeade, a glass at a time, and keep the fizz.

Thank you for a terrific idea and recipe.  I've mixed everything but the lemon soda, then plan to add the soda and cheery like mixtures per glass about how much of each would you guess makes a serving?  Thank you for a wonderful site.
