Cheesy, meaty and hearty this Spaghetti Sandwich has meat sauce, pasta, cheese and garlic toast all grilled up to perfect sandwich heaven.

Spaghetti Sandwich

Texas Toast

spaghetti noodles

spaghetti sauce

mozzarella cheese

butter (softened)

garlic

garlic powder

tsp Italian seasoning

Prepare pasta according to package directions.

Make your spaghetti sauce, you can make homemade or just use jarred with hamburger (our homemade is linked).

In a bowl stir together softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder and Italian seasoning.In a large pan heat on low heat, spread some of your butter on one side of your Texas toast and place in pan.

Place one slice of mozzarella cheese on top then add a little bit of spaghetti, top with some spaghetti sauce then another slice of mozzarella cheese.

Finally add your other slice of texas toast and spread with a little more butter.

Cover your pan with a lid and let grill slowly, we do this to make sure the cheese melts and it browns well.

Flip your sandwich and repeat.

Remove from pan and let sit for a few minutes to let cheese really melt and then slice in half if desired.

tsp sesame oil

onion (sliced)

carrot (finely sliced)

g cabbage (chopped)

noodles

yakisoba sauce

hot dog buns

beni shoga (red pickled ginger)

seaweed flakes / aonori (nori flakes)

spring onion (sliced thin)

Heat the vegetable oil and sesame oil in a wok, frying pan or large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the onions and stir fry for a few minutes until they start to turn transparent, then add the carrots and cabbage and stir fry for a minute or two until they start to soften.

Add the yakisoba noodles and stir fry for a few minutes, using your spatula to toss and separate the strands. Once noodles start to become crispy, add half the yakisoba sauce and stir quickly to coat all ingredients evenly.

Add the remaining yakisoba sauce and stir fry until all ingredients are cooked.

Slice hot dog buns in half, stopping just before you cut them all the way through, so they&#39;ll hold in the noodles.

Stuff the cooked yakisoba into cut the cut hot dog buns and garnish with optional pickled ginger, spring onion and aonori.
