spinach milk parmesan

This is a great hardy meal that doesn&#x27;t take long to put together.  If you have at least a quart of milk in the refrigerator (a little more would be even better), 2 cans of white beans in the pantry and either a bag of fresh spinach preferably but a box of frozen spinach will do just as well; you have the makings for one delicious chowder.  Oh, don&#x27;t make me forget the flavor maker parmesan cheese, that we&#x27;ll be the answer to all the questions.  This soup/chowder comes together so quickly. I always like to get all my ingredients out first; just to be sure I have everything before I get started.  This soup is perfect for a blustery cool autumn night after a long day at work and kids are working on their homework assignments.  This is what their bodies are craving.  So go ahead and even plan it into your weekly menu, put the bag of spinach on your list along with your white beans, just in case you don&#x27;t have them in your pantry now.

Tina's Beans 'n Greens Chowder

garlic

olive oil liberal pour

unsalted butter

½ quarts whole milk (You can also use low-fat milk

beans

spinach

½ box pipette pasta (Cook

parmesan cheese

salt and pepper

1-Brown garlic in olive oil and butter in the stockpot

2-Add spinach after garlic is lightly browned.  You&#x27;re going to cook your spinach until it is wilted;  this will only take a few minutes. Spinach cooks very fast.

You are going to add the rinsed beans, milk, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir and mix all together and bring it slowly up to a high simmer,  put your lid partially on.  You want to be sure it doesn&#x27;t stick to the bottom of the pot, stirring it often.

By this time your water for the pasta must be boiling, go ahead and put the pasta in your water.  (Follow directions on the box for al dente consistency.  You want to be sure you don&#x27;t overcook the pasta; otherwise, the pasta will absorb most of the liquid of the chowder)

After your pasta is drained you&#x27;re going to add it to the rest of the ingredients; let the flavors meld together for a few minutes(approximately  10 minutes) now your going to serve your family.  Hope everyone enjoys one of our family&#x27;s favorites!!
