Sweet and spicy, baked honey sriracha lime salmon in foil is tender and flaky and has the most incredible flavors. A healthy and easy 30 minute meal for salmon lovers.&nbsp;

Baked Honey Sriracha Lime Salmon

salmon (or 4-6 individual (4-6 ounce) fillets)

salt and pepper

limes ((one juiced, one for slicing))

soy sauce ((I used low sodium))

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, grease lightly, and lay salmon on top. Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste. Slice one lime thinly, and slice the slices under the edges of the salmon.

In a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Stir in honey, sriracha sauce, juice of one lime (about 1 tablespoon), soy sauce, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduct to medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes longer.

Pour 2/3 of the sauce over the salmon (reserve remaining sauce for later) and use a spoon or spatula to make sure the sauce covers all of the salmon (you just don't want any "dry" spots).&nbsp;

Fold the edges of the foil up around the salmon so the sauce doesn't spill out everywhere (the foil doesn't need to completely cover the salmon).

Bake for 15 minutes, then switch to broil and cook another 4-5 minutes until the very edges of the salmon begin to char slightly - watch carefully so the whole salmon doesn't burn.

Top salmon with reserved sauce and chopped cilantro and serve.

These honey sriracha salmon bowls are spicy, sweet and so easy to make. With only 20 minutes of active prep and cook time, this is the perfect easy dinner recipe for the whole family.

Honey Sriracha Salmon Bowls

salmon filets

soy sauce

white rice

avocado

cucumber (sliced)

edamame (cooked)

sriracha mayo

Cut your salmon into 1 inch cubes. I took the skin off, but you can keep it on if you prefer.

whisk marinade

Whisk together all ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl.

marinate salmon

Add in the salmon and marinate for up to 1 hour, but ideally at least 20 minutes.

heat pan

Once it&#39;s done marinating, heat a large skillet with a splash of oil and add in the salmon, but keep the rest of the marinade on the side for now.

cook

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side to get a nice crisp.

add sauce

Add in the marinade and cook until the sauce thickens.

assemble

Assemble your bowls with a bed of rice, then add in the salmon, avocado, cucumber, edamame and top with the sriracha mayo.

serve

Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds and enjoy!
