Juicy and savory seasoned Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packs are simply the most perfect baked or grilled hearty, healthy meal, and done in just 30 minutes!

Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packs

2-2 ½ pounds top sirloin steak (trimmed of fat and

potatoes

olive oil

salt and pepper

garlic

onion powder

oregano

parsley

thyme

thyme or parsley for topping ((optional))

In a large bowl combine steak, potatoes, olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic, and seasonings and toss to combine.

Divide steak and potatoes between four 12x12 inch sheets of foil, then wrap the foil tightly around the contents to form your foil packs. Grill over high heat for about 10 minutes on each side or until steak and potatoes are cooked through OR bake at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through to desired doneness (see note).

Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve immediately.

Butter Garlic Herb Steak Foil Packets

carrots

red bell pepper (cubed)

green bell pepper (cubed)

onion

sirloin

butter (room temperature)

rosemary (chopped)

thyme (chopped)

salt

pepper

In a medium sized bowl add the red potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and red onion. Add salt and pepper and toss with olive oil.

Place four 18x12-inch pieces of heavy aluminum foil on the counter. Evenly place the vegetable mixture on each piece of foil. Top vegetables with steak.

To make the garlic herb butter: In a small bowl add the butter, parsley, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Divide evenly and place on top of the steak. Double fold the top and ends of each piece of foil, leaving space for steam to gather.

Place packets on the grill and cover. Grill 15 minutes or until steak is cooked through and veggies are tender. Carefully open packets and serve.

To Grill:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Bake for 25-30 minutes. Unwrap and broil right at the end to give the steak a slight char.
