Smoothies are a great way to get your daily dose of healthy fats and protein. When you’re in a rush they only take minutes to make and when you have a sweet tooth they make a great dessert substitute. This strawberry cream smoothie is one of my favorites. It’s on regular rotation in my house.

Strawberry Cream Smoothie

strawberries

tbsp organic heavy (whipping) cream

tbsp sugar-free vanilla sweetener

ice cubes

Blend until smooth and pour into a glass to serve.

There’s 4 tbsp of liquid total, plus the strawberries add to it. You could add water or almond milk if you like it thinner.

This Mahabaleshwar style Strawberry cream is quick to prepare delicious dessert made with strawberries and cream. Mahabaleshwar, a hill station in Maharashtra, India known for its luscious strawberry fields is also synonymous with Strawberry Cream.

Strawberry Cream | Easy Strawberries and Cream

sugar (or add as required)

chilled cream (- 25% to 50% fat)

Rinse, hull and chop the strawberries. Take them in a bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon sugar. This step of macerating strawberries is optional and only if the strawberries are tart and not sweet. If the strawberries are very tart, then you can add more sugar.

Mix the sugar very well and keep aside for 20 to 30 minutes.

Later take 1 cup cold cream and ¼ cup powdered sugar or icing sugar in a mixing bowl or stand mixer bowl. 

On a medium-high to high speed whip the cream and sugar till soft peaks. You can use a stand mixer or an electric beater to whip the cream.

Whip till the cream gets soft peaks.

Add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and gently fold in the cream.

Take serving bowls or glasses. Layer them first with some of the strawberry mixture. Also add a bit of the juice.&nbsp;

Then layer with the whipped cream.

Again add some of the strawberries and the juice.

Repeat again with some of the whipped cream.

Lastly garnish with some slices strawberries and serve Strawberries and Cream. You also can chill for a few hours and then serve Strawberry Cream.

Refreshing strawberry popsicles made right at home with simple, healthy ingredients. The perfect blend of sweet &amp; creamy!

Strawberry Cream Popsicles (Vegan!)

can coconut milk, full-fat

strawberries (I use frozen)

maple syrup

lemon juice

pure vanilla extract

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend for about 20-30 seconds until smooth.

Pour mixture into popsicle molds (leaving a little space to allow for expansion). Add popsicle sticks, then place in freezer for about 5-6 hours, or until completely solid.

To remove from the molds, leave them on the counter for several minutes, or run under warm water for a few seconds to help them slide out.

Absolutely delicious!  I'm a sucker for popsicles and was thrilled to find a healthy replacement for the not-so-healthy varieties available in stores.  We loved them and they passed the test when served to our niece and nephew, too! An amazingly simple and delicious summer treat!  Thank you for yet another awesome recipe!
