This iced strawberry matcha latte is fruity and refreshing—perfect for a hot summer day! I list a range for the matcha measurement in this recipe. Use the lesser amount if you&#039;re new to matcha. If you&#039;d like the latte to have a stronger matcha flavor, use more.

Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

strawberries (hulled and finely chopped (about ⅓ cup))

cane sugar

matcha powder

water

almond milk

Maple syrup

Place the strawberries and sugar in a small bowl. Use a fork to combine, lightly mashing the strawberries as you mix. Set aside.

Sift the matcha powder into another small bowl to remove any lumps. Add the water and use a matcha whisk to whisk briskly from side to side until the matcha is fully dispersed and a foamy layer forms on top. 

Place the strawberries at the bottom of a tall glass. Fill halfway with ice, then pour in enough almond milk to fill the glass two thirds of the way full. Top with the matcha mixture.

Stir to combine and taste with a straw. If desired, sweeten with maple syrup or honey to taste.

T2 Strawberry Matcha Powder

60 ml 80°C water

250 ml oat milk

Ice cubes

Crush or finely chop strawberries until they’re pureed.

Making the strawberry puree

Add matcha powder and 80°C water to a matcha bowl.

Whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy and smooth.

In a tall glass, add 2-3 tbsp of strawberry puree.

Add ice cubes and milk until nearly full, then top with the matcha.

Serve, and admire all the vibrant colours. Then stir it up and enjoy!
