Ted Lasso Biscuit Recipe

all purpose flour

sugar

salt

vanilla extract

almond extract

unsalted butter,

coarse sugar, for topping (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment on all sides. Set aside.

In a food processor combine the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla, almond, and butter. Pulse until just combined and the mixture starts to form a dough around the blades of the food processor.

Press the dough into the prepared pan, using your hands to spread the dough into an even layer.

Sprinkle the tops of the bars generously with coarse sugar.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until just light golden brown. Take out of the oven and allow the bars to cool completely before slicing the bars into your desired size! Enjoy!

I made these today for Fourth of July ! SO GOOD! They came out perfect! Next time im only cooking them for 35 min instead of 40 min. I also didn’t have any almond extract but I bet they would’ve tasted even more amazing with it !! I didn’t have a hand mixer or food processor so I used my hands to break up the butter/ mix the ingredients . It was a little time consuming but so worth it ! Going to make them again soon! : )Xo

I do have a question! I was thinking of adding macadamia nuts or like almond butter drizzle in the middle of the biscuits like make one layer and do drizzle then the biscuit layer on top! I’m not sure what do you think?

Loveeee this recipe !!! They always come out amazing!! &lt;33 I want to try this with Gluten Free flour next time !. For the Gluten free 1 to 1 ratio flour which brand did you use? I have ’Arrowhead Organic Gluten Free 1 to 1 ratio’ flour would that work? ! Also will the dough come out crumbly ? I suspect it won’t because it’s gluten free but not sure !

The most difficult part of this recipe is waiting for these guys to cool down. They smell intoxicating while baking. So easy, so good.
