Our turkey meatloaf is full of flavor, moist in the middle, and has become a reader favorite! You would never guess this meatloaf is packed with mushrooms, but that’s what makes it so darn delicious. Lots of finely chopped mushrooms add flavor and moisture, often missing from the typical turkey meatloaf. When choosing which mushrooms to add, white button mushrooms will work perfectly fine. For more flavor, try one or a combination of brown cremini, portobello, or shiitake mushrooms. The mushrooms need to be very finely chopped. You can do this by hand or use a food processor.

ketchup, divided, try our homemade ketchup

(60 grams) panko bread crumbs bread crumbs

(80 ml) milk

eggs,

turkey (92% lean)

This IS the moistest meatloaf ever. I made it almost exactly as in the recipe but I only had 1 pound of turkey and so I added a pound of 96% fat free ground beef, hence it made a couple more servings since I used 2 lbs of meat.  My BF really doesn't like mushrooms but I had a an 8 oz container of baby bellas that was at its  use it or lose it date. I stuck those babies in my hand crank chopper thingie and made both the mushrooms and onions a pretty small dice (reminded me of duxelles).   He loved it and said it didn't taste mushroomy.  I'll definitely make it again.

This was amazing. I deviated slightly by de-glazing the sauteed onions and mushrooms with red wine and adding celery salt to the mix. I also used Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs vs plain Panko. I prefer a less sweet meatloaf so added only the thinnest layer of ketchup to the top of the loaf before cooking. It turned out fantastic. Will 100% make this again, even considering challenging my mother to a meatloaf bake off :)

Made a few turkey meatloafs in the past and they always tend to be on the dry side.  Tried this recipe tonight and what a difference.  Thank you for sharing the secret of mushrooms.  This will be my go to turkey meatloaf recipe in the future

I made this last night and I have to say that it was the BEST meatloaf ever ...I didn't have panko so I used oats (not a whole cup).   It was absolutely delicious and moist and we couldn't even tell it was not ground beef.  The mushrooms did the trick.  Used baby bellas.   Thank you so much for this go to recipe.

Fantastic!  I could not eve tell it was turkey it was that moist.  The mushrooms gave it a great flavor.  A definite keeper!

My husband will only eat extra lean turkey meat no beef so I never thought I could make meatloaf but... this recipe is amazing so moist and flavorful.  It was just as good the next day.  Will definitely be making this often.  I didn’t have panko breadcrumbs so I used seasoned croutons but other than that didn’t stray from the recipe.

Unbelievably Moist Turkey Meatloaf Recipe - How to Make Homemade Turkey Meatloaf

Adding ground turkey meat and oats to the traditional ground beef base makes this meatloaf lighter and healthier — but it's just as hearty and comforting as any old-fashioned recipe.

Soy-Glazed Meatloaf

ketchup

brown sugar

soy sauce

eggs

tbsp. balsamic vinegar

Kosher salt and pepper

c. panko

c. fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped

beef chuck

Mixed green salad,

Healthy turkey meatloaf stuffed with feta cheese and spinach and drizzled with a tangy cucumber dill sauce. It's a delicious keto meal the whole family will love. And it's remarkably easy to make.

Feta-Stuffed Turkey Meatloaf

full fat Greek yogurt

lemon juice

garlic (finely minced)

cucumber

tsp chopped (fresh dill)

tsp salt

lbs turkey ((dark meat if possible))

spinach

almond flour

onion

salt

marjoram

tsp pepper

feta cheese

For the sauce, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl and chill until serving.

For the meatloaf, line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 325F.&nbsp;

In a large mixing bowl, combine the turkey, spinach, almond flour, eggs, onion, salt, marjoram, and pepper. Mix with your hands until very well combined.

Place half of the turkey mixture on the prepared baking sheet and shape into a flat rectangle, about 1 inch thick. Cover with 3/4 cup of the feta cheese. Place remaining turkey mixture overtop of feta and shape the whole thing into a rough loaf. Sprinkle with the remaining feta, pressing lightly to adhere.

Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160F on an instant read thermometer.

Cut into slices and drizzle with tzatziki sauce, passing remaining sauce at the table.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I cut it in half because there is only one of me (baked it for 50 minutes). The other changes I made were to use riced broccoli instead of spinach and no cucumber for the sauce. It has been snowing here for the last 2 days and I'm not about to go out to get ingredients!  I made do with what I have on hand. It came out well.  However, I found out my Greek seasoning has sugar AND Modified Food starch in it so I will be searching for a different brand that makes it without.

Tasty Turkey Meatloaf is flavorful and juicy. Simple ingredients and a sweet &amp; tangy sauce makes this our favorite meatloaf!

Tasty Turkey Meatloaf

lbs Lean Ground Turkey ((85%-93% lean is best))

Panko Bread Crumbs

Milk, (or half and half)

½ Sweet Onion, (grated

Eggs

Ketchup

Worcestershire Sauce

Kosher Salt

Black Pepper

Garlic Powder

Poultry Seasoning ((or Italian seasoning))

Brown Sugar

Yellow Mustard

Heat oven to 350° F.

In a large bowl, combine all of the meatloaf mixture ingredients until well incorporated. Try not to overwork the mixture.

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and use your hands to shape it into a loaf of even thickness (If all you have is a loaf pan, that will work fine, you might use less of the topping, which you can save for dipping).

Bake for 50-60 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to take the internal temperature of the meatloaf. If it reads 165 degrees, then it is done. If less than that, put it back in the oven for 15 minutes and take temperature again (I take mine out at 160 degrees and let it rest for 10 minutes or so. The temperature ends up at 165°).

If you have any of the topping sauce left, you can use it as a dip, or spread it over the cooked meatloaf and serve.

This is a delicious meatloaf! We don't eat beef so this was perfect!
