Vegan Peach Crisp (Without Butter)

peaches

cornstarch or arrowroot powder

maple syrup

water or lemon juice

oats

white whole wheat flour

cinnamon

sea salt

Preheat the oven to 350F or 175C.

Add the frozen peaches, cornstarch, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and lemon juice directly to the baking dish. Mix to combine. Set aside.

In a different bowl, add the oat, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Mix to combine.

Add the maple syrup to the oat/flour mixture and stir to combine, making sure to scrape all of the flour from the bottom of the bowl. Once combined, use a spoon or your hands to break the mixture into small clumps.

Pour the oat crumble topping onto the peach mixture and spread it evenly over the peaches.

Place the crumble in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes, or until the topping is crisp and lightly browned.

Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with a scoop of vegan ice cream or banana nice cream. Or let cool completely and store for later.

Vegan Peach Crisp

This easy single-serve Vegan Peach (or nectarine) Crumble is made with just a handful of ingredients in as little as 5 minutes and can be cooked in an oven, microwave, or air fryer. With juicy, soft peach topped with crunchy, buttery crumble, it&#039;s the perfect dessert to treat yourself to this summer!

Vegan Peach Crumble For One

peach (, or nectarine (frozen slices work too))

all purpose flour (, plain flour

sugar

vegan butter

baking powder

fine sea salt

Cut the peach in half and remove the stone. Slice then place the slices in the bottom of a mug, ramekin, or other individual-sized dish with a volume of at least 10oz/300ml (1⅓ cups). Be sure to use one suitable for your preferred cooking method, i.e. it should be oven-safe if baking in the oven or microwave-safe if microwaving.

Add all of the other ingredients to a small bowl. Use the tips of your fingers to combine and rub the butter into the flour until it looks like coarse bread crumbs (see my photograph in the post above or watch my video). Sprinkle the crumble topping over the peaches.

Microwave for 1 minute 40 seconds, air fry at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes, or oven-bake at 400°F for 15 minutes. If using frozen peaches add an extra 10 seconds in the microwave, an extra 3 minutes in the oven or an extra 2 minutes in an air fryer.
