Vegan Pizza Waffles stuffed with bell peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella are a must-try for all pizza lovers and everyone craving pizza for breakfast! Perfectly cheesy yet light and crispy and with pizza sauce and favorite pizza toppings. No nuts! Makes 10-11 mini waffles and 4-5 regular size waffles

Vegan Pizza Waffles

all-purpose flour

Tbsp semolina flour flour

active yeast

salt

tsp baking powder

add ins: 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/2 tsp pepper flakes

tsp extra virgin olive oil

water

mushrooms

vegetables

pizza sauce

mozzarella

tsp red pepper flakes

garlic (minced)

Oil (as needed)

Make the pizza batter first - add all of the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Add in the extra virgin olive oil and warm water, mix until the mixture is like a pancake batter. Let this mixture sit for 20-25 minutes until it gets bubbly. (You can add in some dried oregano, garlic powder for flavor or swirl in a bit of pizza sauce jn the batter itself for variation)

Meanwhile you can chop up the vegetables and gather other additions

To make the waffles, heat your waffle iron and add a few drops of oil. Add a spoonful of the pizza batter and spread it around - you want a thin layer. Add a small spoonful of the pizza sauce at every corner, not too much

Top this with your sliced mushrooms, peppers, and shredded mozzarella. Add another layer of the pizza batter on top, no need to cover the entire surface. Top with optional minced garlic and drizzle of oil and close waffle iron

Let the waffle cook until it’s golden brown on both sides, flip waffle if it’s not browning evenly, cook for a few more minutes

Repeat for all of the waffles, transfer prepared waffles onto a rack so they don’t get soggy. Serve immediately, these are best when served warm and crispyTo reheat, you can reheat for 5-10 mins in the oven at 400 deg F which will also help keep them crispy

Easy Vegan PIZZA Waffles! Crispy savory cheesy! Vegan Richa Recipes

These Banana Churro Waffles are easy, tasty snacks ready in under 20 minutes with a classic churros taste coated with crunchy sugar and sweetened with ripe bananas.

Banana Churro Waffles

Self-Rising Flour (note 1)

Ripe Bananas (1 cup mashed banana)

Almond Milk (note 2)

Unrefined Sugar

Cinnamon

Banana (cut into thinly slices that you can almost see through)

Vanilla Extract

Unrefined Sugar (note 3)

Before you start, decide if you want to use oil or not. The oil makes the waffles crispier. If so, use 1 1/2 cups of almond milk and 1/4 cup of oil instead of 1 3/4 cup of almond milk.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk self-rising flour with mashed banana and milk. The batter should be thin and runny—that&#39;s normal. Whisk in the optional ingredients.

Prepare a bowl with oil and a wide shallow plate with the cinnamon sugar. Set aside.

Warm a waffle iron to high heat and grease it generously with oil.

Add 1/3 cup batter, if you like, add super-thin slices of bananas and 2 tablespoons of batter on top to cover the banana slices so they don&#39;t get in contact with the waffle irons. Cook the waffles for 6 to 7 minutes until ultra-crispy and golden.

Cut the waffles into sticks on a chopping board with a long sharp knife.

When hot, immediately spray or brush with oil and roll them into the cinnamon sugar.

Eat immediately as they soften very fast. If you don&#39;t eat all the waffles now, don&#39;t coat them with sugar so you can rewarm them in an air fryer or a warm waffle iron, and coat them just before eating.

Rewarm in an air fryer for a few minutes at 350 °F (180 °C) to crispy.

Heerlijk!! That’s how we say delicious in Holland. My son and I just tried them for the first time. But we will definitily make more of these!

Mine weren't this thick so I added more flour and fried them as  and sprinkled them with a mix of cinnamon and sugar from the recipe. They are delicious
