Bacon Waffles With Chocolate Chips & Waffle Eggs

bacon

eggs

milk

tsp baking soda

flour

tsp baking powder

tsp salt

Cut slices of bacon in half and cook...

Cut slices of bacon in half and cook on medium heat in a cast iron skillet for 3 minutes on each side.  (You don't want to crisp the bacon in the skillet.)

While bacon is cooking, prepare waffle mix.

Crack 3 eggs in a mixing bowl.

Add in milk, oil, baking soda, salt, baking...

Add in milk, oil, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and flour.

Beat with beater until smooth.

Fold in chocolate chips.

Spray waffle iron with cooking spray and heat...

Spray waffle iron with cooking spray and heat waffle iron according to directions.

Place two half slices of bacon on each...

Place two half slices of bacon on each waffle square of the waffle iron.

Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto each square,...

Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto each square, over the bacon.

When waffles are cooked and slightly brown, remove...

When waffles are cooked and slightly brown, remove them from the iron

To cook waffle eggs, simply spray the waffle...

To cook waffle eggs, simply spray the waffle iron with cooking spray, crack one egg into each square of the waffle iron, and cook until done.

Serve bacon waffles with waffle eggs and more...

Keto Birthday Cake Chaffle

cream cheese

almond flour

heavy whipping cream

monk fruit

vanilla

cake batter extract

baking powder

unsalted butter, softened

erythritol

Preheat

Preheat waffle maker to medium high heat.

Whisky it

Whisk together all the chaffle ingredients - egg, cream cheese, almond flour, baking powder, heavy cream, monk fruit, vanilla and cake batter extract.

Pour batter

Pour 1/3 of the chaffle mixture into the center of the waffle iron. Close the waffle maker and let cook for 3 minutes or until waffle set. You want this chaffle to be spongy and not crisp.

Remove & repeat

Remove chaffle from the waffle maker and repeat with remaining batter until you have three cake chaffles.

Make the frosting

While your chaffles are cooling, make the frosting. Beat the butter together in a small bowl. The longer you cream the butter, the more lighter in color it gets. Mix together butter, powdered erythritol, vanilla. Slowly add in heavy cream until you reach your desired frosting consistency.

Frost it

Layer your chaffle cake. Place down one chaffle and spread frosting on top. Lay down a second chaffle on the frosting and frost it's top, lay down the third chaffle. Frost the top and the sides of all chaffles.

I&#039;m no stranger at using my waffle iron for other than waffles. Waffle pizzas, cinnamon rolls and now our new favorite Waffle Iron Hash Brown Tater Tots!

Waffle Iron Hash Brown Tater Tots

32 oz bag frozen tater tots

salt and pepper

non-stick spray or oil

Set waffle iron to medium /high. Wait until iron indicates it is ready to go and spray with non-stick stray or coat with oil. Set tater tots evenly on waffle iron. My iron measures 7 inches across and I used about 22 tots per waffle.

Close iron and press down firmly to flatten out the tots a little. While they cook, you press down more and more as they continue to cook. Total cooking time is about 2-3 minutes depending on your waffle iron.

When done, season with salt and or pepper to taste. Serve with your favorite breakfast eggs and some fruit for a fun, filling breakfast!

Waffle Iron Tater Tots

tater tots ((about 28))

egg ((optional, but highly recommended))

preheat waffle iron, defrost and cook tater tots in the microwave

Preheat the waffle iron on med-high heat. Place the frozen tater tots in a microwave-safe bowl and defrost for 1 minute. Stir the tots and place them back in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes. They should be unfrozen by now (or mostly). If they are a little mushy, don&#039;t worry, they crisp right up in the waffle iron.

Place the tater tots in the middle of the waffle maker and close the lid as much as you can

Open the hot waffle iron and carefully place the tater tots in the middle, spreading them out in a circle (or square if that is the shape of your waffle maker). Press down the lid as much as you can. As the tater tots cook, you can press down more.

Cook for 4-5 minutes until brown and crispy, ejoy right away

Cook the tater tot waffle for 4-5 minutes. Continue to check on the waffle as it&#039;s cooking to make sure it doesn&#039;t burn. The tater tots will turn a nice dark brown and should be crispy. Carefully remove the waffle using a fork. Enjoy immediately!
