Step 1
Place 32 oz water into mixing bowl, place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and start Kettle /212°F.
Step 2
Add tea bags, insert measuring cup and steep 5-8 minutes. Discard tea bags, transfer hot tea to a heat proof pitcher and cool.
Step 3
Place 64 oz water into mixing bowl, place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and start Kettle /212°F. Meanwhile, fill a large bowl halfway with ice water to create an ice bath and set aside.
Step 4
Add tapioca pearls, place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and cook for time indicated on package 212°F//speed or until soft (cooking time will vary depending on brand and size of pearls). Strain pearls through simmering basket, transfer into prepared ice bath and set aside to cool. Meanwhile, rinse mixing bowl.
Step 5
Place sugar and 7 oz water into mixing bowl and without measuring cup, cook 15 min/250°F/speed 1. Remove mixing bowl and set aside to cool.
Step 6
Divide 2-3 tablespoons reserved cooled tapioca pearls, 2-3 teaspoons of reserved sugar syrup (to taste) and brewed tea between 4 tall glasses. Add ice and 3 oz milk to each glass, stir to combine and serve with extra wide straws.
