Step 1

Rip or cut open the four cardamom pods. Remove the tiny seeds from inside.

Step 2

Grind the seeds with a pestle and mortar, a spice or coffee grinder, or a small food processor.

Step 3

Add the ground cardamom into your coffee maker.

Step 4

Top up with the perfect amount of water and let brew.

Step 5

Plunge and pour into a waiting cup.

Step 6

Serve black, sweeten with a little sugar or honey and top up with milk if you prefer.
