Step 1

In a big bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Then slowly add the water and stir until it's smooth.

Step 2

Pour the oil into a deep frying pan and heat it up to 350°F (175°C).

Step 3

Dip each chicken tender into the batter and make sure it's covered all over.

Step 4

Carefully put the chicken tenders into the hot oil and try not to put too many at once.

Step 5

Fry them for about 5-7 minutes, or until they're golden brown and crispy.

Step 6

Take the chicken out of the oil and put them on a plate with paper towels to soak up any extra oil.

Step 7

Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
