Step 1
First of all, prepare the vegetables, cut bell peppers and onion into medium size cubes. Cut spring onions into 1″ pieces, finely chop the garlic.
Step 2
Add all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Pat dry the fish fillets with paper towel, season with salt and black pepper. Rub to both sides of fillets.
Step 4
Add corn/potato flour in the tray. Coat the fish fillets well in the flour and toss the excess flour out before frying.
Step 5
Heat the oil into 350° F, Add the coated fish fillet slowly and fry each side for 2-3 mins or until the crust become crispy.
Step 6
Remove from oil and transfer to paper towel or cooling rack.
Step 7
Add a tablespoon of oil in a pan, add chopped garlic and stir for few seconds until light brown. Then add the onion and bell pepper in, stir for few seconds. Pour the sauce mixture and water in. Let it simmer for few seconds.
Step 8
When the sauce start to thick, turn off the heat and add the spring onions in, stir well.
Step 9
Place the fried fish on the serving plate. Pour the sauce over the crispy fish. Serve with steamed rice.Enjoy!
