Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180 °C (350°F).

Step 2

Grease your pie dish generously with butter and set aside. (NOTE: This clafoutis recipe needs a pie dish that accommodates at least 1 quart of batter.)

Step 3

Using a blender, combine eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk.  Mix until you get a smooth, combined batter.

Step 4

Pour the batter into your greased dish.

Step 5

Add the blueberries, placing them evenly into the batter.

Step 6

Place the dish in the middle of the oven.

Step 7

Bake your blueberry clafoutis for 45 to 50 minutes or until the top has turned golden. You can also check by inserting a toothpick to see if its already cooked inside.

Step 8

Take the dish out of the oven and let cool down for about 5 minutes.

Step 9

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if preferred.

Step 10

Slice and serve your blueberry clafoutis with ice cream or whipped cream on top.
