Step 1
Begin by prepping the ingredients. Mince the garlic, thinly slice the green onion, grate the ginger, and chop the bok choy into small pieces.
Step 2
Add the olive oil to a small pot over medium heat. Add the garlic, the white part of the green onion (the bottom half), and the ginger. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the miso paste, vegetable broth, and soy sauce. Stir until the miso has dissolved into the liquid, then let the mixture come to a boil.
Step 4
Add the bok choy and dumplings. Cook for 1-3 minutes, until the dumplings are cooked through (the dumpling package should have instructions for how long your dumplings need to be cooked).
Step 5
Carefully pour the hot soup into a bowl and top with chili crisp, the remaining green part of the green onion, and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
