Step 1

First, fill your skillet or pot for frying half way up with oil.

Step 2

Next, lay the thawed out deer steak in the sink in a single layer in order to season.

Mix together the onion powder, garlic powder, and Tony’s together in a small bowl and season both sides of the steak in the sink.

Step 4

Then, crack three large eggs into a bowl and beat.Place seasoned strips of deer steak in the bowl with the beaten egg and stir. Make sure that all of the strips of deer steak have a good coating of the beaten egg.

Step 5

Pour the flour and baking powder into a bowl and mix.

Step 6

Turn on your heat on the stove between medium and medium high. Once your oil is hot, about 350 degrees, you are ready to begin frying.

Step 7

Grab strips of steak and dip them into the flour mixture.Shake off the excess flour and place into the hot oil.

Step 8

Fry until you get a golden color and it’s crispy.Finally, take out of the oil and place on a paper towel in order to absorb the excess oil.
