Galaxy Oobleck Recipe

Step 1

Add the cornstarch and coloring to each of your jars.

Step 2

One at a time, add water to the jars and mix until fully combined. I found the mixture to be fairly dry and crumbly at first (see the images for examples), but with just a little more water it all came together.

Step 3

The mixture will be very stiff and a little challenging to mix, great for older children but little ones will need some help to get to the correct consistency.

Step 4

Use the end of the spoon to scoop down to the very bottom of the jar to ensure all parts are incorporated.

Step 5

Once the oobleck is fully mixed together you can transfer it out into your tray. We added the glitter to it once it was out on the tray. This is a ton of fun to explore and play with!

Step 6

to store it add a little bit more water and transfer it to an airtight container for storage.
