Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Pour the water, salt and oil into a bowl and add the flour and then the yeast.
Step 2
Knead as briefly as possible to create a consistent dough, and allow to rise for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Then knead the dough by hand again and form into a ball. If the dough is sticking slightly, dust the table with a little Mix It.
Step 4
Mould into a loaf shape, and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, cover this with a cloth and leave to prove for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 180°C on a fan setting (190°C top/bottom temperature) and place a small baking tin or tray on the floor of the oven (this needs to heat up with the oven).
Step 6
After the bread has risen, brush sparingly with a little water and place in the oven. Pour 100 ml of water into the heated tray and close the oven door.
Step 7
Bake the bread for 40 to 50 minutes, depending on whether you want a darker colour. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
