Step 1

In a small mixing bowl, add the paprika, the brown sugar, the garlic powder, the onion powder, the black pepper, the lemon pepper, and the salt and mix until it is well-combined.

Step 2

Remove and discard the silver membrane from the back of the ribs.

Step 3

Rub the ribs all over with the spice mixture.

Step 4

Place the chopped onion, the sliced garlic, the water, and the seasoned ribs in a slow cooker and cook until they are fork-tender, on high heat for 4 hours or on low heat for 8 hours.

Step 5

Preheat the broiler.

Step 6

In a small mixing bowl, add the ketchup, the chili sauce, and the barbecue sauce and mix until it is well-combined.

Step 7

Brush the cooked ribs with the sauce mixture and place them on a baking sheet.

Step 8

Broil the ribs until they are charred, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 9

Serve.
