Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or spray with nonstick baking spray.

In a bowl, mash the bananas and measure to assure it's 1 cup.

In another bowl, mix mashed banana, vanilla extract, egg, and maple syrup.

Add dry ingredients (peanut butter flour, cinnamon, kosher salt, baking soda) to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
Step 5
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Step 7
Bake for 20 minutes, until the bars are set.
Step 8
Remove from the oven and let cool completely before slicing.
