Step 1
Label your freezer bag with the name of the recipe, cooking instructions, and “use-by” date.
Step 2
Add all ingredients except for the pasta, spinach, water, and half and half to your freezer bag.
Step 3
Remove as much air as possible, seal, and freeze.
Step 4
Pour contents of freezer bag into your Instant Pot. Add the pasta and water.
Step 5
Cook on “pressure cook” 5 minutes.
Step 6
Quick release.
Step 7
Remove the top and add the spinach and half and half, and “saute” for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce is thickened to your liking.
Step 8
Defrost the bag overnight.
Step 9
Add the contents of the freezer bag as well as the pasta and water to a large skillet.
Step 10
Bring all to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer. Cook, covered, stirring frequently until the pasta is al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 11
Lower the flame to simmer and add the spinach and half and half, stirring for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce is thickened to your liking.
