In a lowball glass, add the Amarena cherry syrup and Angostura bitters. Fill the glass with ice cubes, and pour the bourbon over the ice. Stir with a cocktail spoon to combine.

Step 2

Take the orange peel and squeeze it gently to express the oils around the rim of the glass, then drop it into the glass. Garnish the cocktail with the Amarena cherries on a cocktail pick or skewer and serve.
