Step 1

Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.

Step 2

Once the mustard seeds splutter add hing.

Step 3

Turn the heat down and add cabbage and potato.

Step 4

Mix well and add green chilli and ginger.

Step 5

Add all the masala and chopped tomato and salt.

Step 6

Mix well and cover the kadai or pan with lid.

Step 7

Keep the heat on low and let the sabji cook in its own steam.

Step 8

Stir frequently.

Step 9

After 12-15 minutes sabji will be ready.

Step 10

Check if potatoes are cooked properly.

Step 11

Turn off the heat.

Stir in the chopped coriander and lemon juice if using.
