Step 1

In a large bowl combine oats, nuts, oat bran, seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Step 2

In a small saucepan heat coconut oil, maple syrup and sugar (if using), until the coconut oil is liquified and the sugar is melted. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and toss to combine.

Step 3

Spread granola mixture evenly onto prepared baking sheet. Cook for 20 minutes. Toss with a spatula and cook 15-20 minutes longer, until golden.

Step 4

Remove from oven. Toss once more and leave out to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
