Step 1
To a medium bowl, add the hot water and gelatin; mix well to thoroughly combine. Quickly stir in the birdseed into mixture to fully combine.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place cookie cutters on parchment and spoon birdseed mixture into cookie cutters. Let mixture set inside cutters for 15 min. Using a skewer or chopstick, poke a hole in the top of each ornament.
Step 3
Refrigerate 30–60 min. to harden. If the hole has closed up slightly, poke the hole with skewer again, if needed. Insert a piece of ribbon through the hole to create a loop. Hang your ornaments outside and wait for the birds to arrive.
