Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla; mix well.

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and whisk to blend. Stir the flour mixture nto the egg mixture just until moistened.

Toss pears with lemon juice. Add pears and walnuts into batter (batter will be thick), stir just to combine.
Step 4
Grease two 9×5 inch loaf pans. Spoon batter into greased loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 5
Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Cool completely before slicing.
