Step 1
Adjust oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare pie crust according to package directions for “Two-Crust Pie” using a 9-inch (23 cm) pie plate.

Top with second crust; seal and flute edges as desired.
Step 10
Cut slits in top crust to vent. Brush with beaten egg.
Step 11
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Step 12
Let stand at least 20 minutes before serving.
