Step 1
Mix salt, turmeric powder and wheat flour in a bowl evenly. Then, add eggs, oil and water. Mix well. Blend the batter for about 3 minutes or use a balloon whisk to mix the batter for 6 minutes. Sieve the batter before pouring it into a roti jala batter bottle.
Step 2
Heat non-stick pan over low heat. Carefully, create a net-like pattern pancake. Cook for about 2 minutes without the lid on. The colour will turn lighter and it can be removed easily once done. No need to flip the pancake over.
Step 3
Place roti jala on a plate or tray to fold it if using a small pan. If using a larger pan, use a wide spatula to fold it directly on the pan. You can either roll the roti jala or fold it into the shape of a long triangle. Repeat Step 2 until batter is finished.
